Quick guide to replay checking:

1. check the race summary, check that the tyres are Sports - Hard (SH) and that the power is 353 hp
2. firstly, check the replay from the farthest top view (press R1 twice as soon as the race starts then X if you need to switch to the outside camera)
3. secondly, check the replay from the same view but in reverse (press L1)
4. if you suspect more than two wheels leave the track, freeze the replay ('Select' button) to enter photomode
5. if you suspect contact with a wall, check the data logger for any sudden spike in the cars speed under full throttle

After five months I finally got my first gold. Whoo Hoo! Sure did enjoy this combo. Thanks Jerry for a fun week.👍 Wasn't like driving my old Mach I but it sure was fun.

Master P, good on you for getting closer to THAT lap that I was chasing all day yesterday... 👍 I had seen sectors that would've added up to a 1'32.flat or just over, but I'm sure you were too.

Sjaak, congrats once again on snagging top spot in D1, I'll see you in the division you belong in soon enough I guess, eh?

Baker, once again you snag top spot in D3, only to still snag last spot in D2... A promotion would hurt, wouldn't it? Seems we just need to get more people racing each week! Well, to taking the spot once again, someone's got to take it.

GTBADBOY! w000000! Two golds in one day! And one of them a first place! Now that is something I can't say I've done before... Well done man!

And on that note, I'll get my replay up sometime this week, maybe tonight, maybe tomorrow night.

Oh, and WSSSUP, nice picture! You managed to make the Mustang look good in stock form. This car with the stock ride height and stock wheels just looks crappy to me, but if you're only looking at the rear or front it manages to look good. Put some larger wheels and lower it a bit, and they're sexy all around...

No, it wouldn't hurt, past performance dictates he is capable. 👍

Having said that, I say leave DJ in Div III for awhile longer. He sets the bar and gives us someone to target each week. I may be wrong but IMHO I suspect if we start putting some pressure on DJ he'll start really stepping it up and earn his promotion!

KLR, Thanks for noticing that & pointing it out. I've mentioned that point to Sphinx: I would have finished last or next to last in D2 in 8 of the last 10 races I've ran, & the other 2 were the handicapped races where I would have been 5th in D2. They've been close battles in D3 that have taken my all, but my interest & participation would likely wain if it was all for a distant last in D2.

gtbadboy, It's good to hear that you still want me around. It's great fun dicing it out with you & everyone else in D3. 👍 Now if more of the newly registered D3ers would join the fun, we could have some good sized fields.

Amen Brother! We sure could use a few more D3er's in there with us. 👍 As for you getting promoted, I've registered my $.02. It's always good to have someone to chase around the track. My only worry would be if we don't start putting some pressure on you, you may get bored so it's on us to get faster and "encourage" you to a promotion!! In any event, it's all great fun. Well, I ran into a bit of trouble getting my hands on the Maxdrive earlier this week... Pat's out of town right now so I had to bug his buddy who has keys to his shop last night. But, I have it now, and here we go!

EDIT: Just checked DJ Baker's replay... 👍 👍 Clean! Super smooth too! Just gotta try and use even more of the tires' available traction(or go a smidge beyond it at times) to pick up that difference in speed between the top of D1 and where you're at. You totally have the lines down pat though. Awesome driving man!

And gtbadboy, you're absolutely correct... I thought you were PAL as well from the european sounding-ness of your Location, haha. Looking at your sig I see that you're NTSC! I'll check that for you riiiiiight now. 👍

It's a beautiful lap! You lost a decent chunk around the last turn by being extra cautious with how fast you could go around it, and then there was that spot right after T1 where you had to slow down to keep from hitting the outside wall before the hairpin, but otherwise your lap was pretty spot on man, and ready for some QUICK times. Very well done, CLEAN! 👍 👍

KLR, Thanks for the props. I'm not doing too bad for only being at this since January '07 if I say so myself. Of course I try to take most of what is offered by the "aliens' and put it to good use, yourself included I might add. I think I learn more by watching and trying it to take that with me to the track. It's great Mr.P puts up videos of the European boys otherwise I'd never get to see some of their moves eh? 👍

I think Sphinx gave me a green flag as well. Thanks to all and I sure did like that Mustang, brought back some memories of that '70 Mach I I used to own. 👍 👍
