Important notice:
To streamline the WRS administration process, all replays for this race must be submitted within 7 days. This thread will be listed as "Unofficial" and will become "Official" when all posted replays have been checked. After 7 days, any racers achieving a Gold time who do not provide a replay will have their lap disqualified.

Quick Guide To Replay Checking:

1. check the race summary, check that the tyres are Racing - Dirt and that the power is 300 hp
2. firstly, check the replay from the farthest top view (press R1 twice as soon as the race starts then X if you need to switch to the outside camera)
3. secondly, check the replay from the same view but in reverse (press L1)
4. if you suspect more than two wheels leave the track, freeze the replay ('Select' button) to enter photomode
5. if you suspect contact with a wall, check the data logger for any sudden spike in the cars speed under full throttle.

Managed to use someone else's PS2 to get my time, it was a 1'48.555... But I'm too late, dang it.

Congrats to all the gold times btw, and as always those Div1 times are amazing... I can't believe there was so much time left to be had!

Couldn't read EDK's replay. Interesting to see the differences in Sphinx's to my own replay. Someone else should check this - I am only new to the allowed/not allowed thing.

Mark - I am NTSC version. I believe you guys are PAL? But I am no expert, so there could be a different issue with my transfer to the MAX drive. Let me know if you are normally able to view NTSC and I will try to do my transfer again.

Out of town until next Monday evening, so I would not get to it until then.

Yeah I am PAL - didn't know you were NTSC - so the replay copied onto memory card OK but GT4 didn't even show it as existing. I'm sure its OK. Just saying because I had said I was downloading - so others would know that they had to look at the replay.

I just viewed the following replays ..

Sphinx - Was shocked by the cut across before T2 but its a sand area he uses and perfectly within the rules ... still in wonder why I never thought to use it myself 💡 ... The lap is good fast and clean and the correct specs 👍



Holl01 - Even though I have my differences with Dan from time to time this lap he has run is a blistering piece of rallying that makes me wonder why the rest of us bother .... but we do have a close call and thats all I can call it for now as i'm not 100% sure? .. it's that close!

..about 1 second after hitting T3 and about to negotiate the sweeping left hander he gets extremely close to the banking with his front bumper .. as I said I cant call it a contact as yet and thought I would post some pics of the incident anyway ..

I think Dan probably realised how close it was anyway and decided to go with it .. as I would do myself! Its a belting lap for sure and other than that possible contact the lap is absolutely flawless .. Lets see some other thoughts on this anyway as I think this needs a 2nd, 3rd and 4th opinions before any decision is made .. there's a possibility it is perfectly clean but just a milimetre away from a fail and I'm not willing to make the call until others give a verdict 👍

yeah thanx ron for taking a look, i took a quick look in data logger before submitting that lap and there was no peaks, so i assumed clean:tup: wish i used the wheel earlier in gt4 rally, didnt realize how much faster u can be with it.

in closing, seeing as how ur leaving ron, i'd just like to say its been a pleasure driving with u, u have gained my respect and i'll see you again in the gt5 era:tup:

I had a look at Mr P's lap and found it to be clean as a whistle - forgot to check that it was 300bhp though
I especially liked the finish - sideways over the line is always impressive.
