Important notice:
To streamline the WRS administration process, all replays for this race must be submitted within 7 days. This thread will be listed as "Unofficial" and will become "Official" when all posted replays have been checked. After 7 days, any racers achieving a Gold time who do not provide a replay will have their lap disqualified.

Please Note:
I will update this post during the week to include any posted replays and also keep track of which replays have been checked and by whom.

Quick Guide To Replay Checking:
  1. check the race summary, check that the tyres are racing -soft and that the power is 601 hp
  2. firstly, check the replay from the farthest top view (press R1 twice as soon as the race starts then X if you need to switch to the outside camera)
  3. secondly, check the replay from the same view but in reverse (press L1)
  4. if you suspect more than two wheels leave the track, freeze the replay ('Select' button) to enter photomode
  5. if you suspect contact with a wall, check the data logger for any sudden spike in the cars speed under full throttle.

Nice group this time 👍
I wouldn't get under 27.6...
Now that the BC7 is over, I'll return more dedicated to this!!:sly:

Congratulations to smokin'

gold times in all divisions! 👍

Here's my replay, I think it's the right one.
Let me know if it's not, I had 2 files transferred, 1'28.202 and a 1'28.286. The quicker one was slightly larger, so that's the one I've uploaded, but who knows what happens when the crush/uncrush stuff does it's business?!!!

Congrats everyone. Nerves of steel required on this one, especially the needle threading on those first couple of corners. I'm happy with a silver on this one as I only had three sessions this week (that's usually warmup time for me :)) and for once I didn't forget to take the handbrake off on the finish stretch.

I did find that you can go through that first right hander full throttle and I'm guessing that you speedy bastards were doing that into the tunnel too but I was never able to do both in the same lap, some part of the car always ended up hitting a wall.

Congrats to Herman, Clemi, and GTK, nice runs 👍 Congrats to all who ran this one as that damn kink was a pain in the arse.

Smokin Kel  and I just pipped ya niels :dopey:

 yeah, damn those sneeky bastards!

Congrats to the winners.

Nice combo, Sjaak. 👍

I'm no match for you Eric. :scared: You should starting looking up instead. :dopey:

I had some trouble with that fast right-hander. I could only do it flat-out when I had a bad exit on the first left, so I used half throttle and shifted to 5th gear during that corner.

And by the way, I still think that some racers should get promoted...👍

sorry i didnt have time to run this one...but i did have time to verify laps!!

took a look at Smallhorses and Erik's laps.

right tires...hp...lap times...both laps clean and green!!! :D

great runs guys!!! congrats to all the podium guys!! 👍 oooops!!! and gal!!!

btw...where's Mike's finish time????? saw him on the leaderboard...didn't he submit a time sjaak????

Congratulations to each division winner and all those gold times, well done all.

Nice to see so many drivers taking part in each division. I'm quite satisfied with my personal performance after a 5 month hiatus but I'll be looking to improve in the coming weeks.

sjaak, great combo and well done my friend. 👍👍👍

Thanks Kevin, and no time from Mike,

Must be still celebrating last weeks win.:)

Woah!! cracking times by everyone! congrats Herman (blazing!!) and Clemi_UK and GTKJon

I must admit to being a bit dissapointed at getting 2nd but even with my fastest a 1'27.7
I would have still got the same position, so I'm over it already :)

Well done all who competed, it was tough (especially the barrirers bend!) but fun and a good turn out nice to see 👍

Congrats to all the winners and the D2 folks running the D1 times-that's rippin'. Great week. I was good thru sector 1 early in the week, but by the time I figured sector 2 out, I couldn't get a clean run through the first set of turns and gave up. I do believe I used 310 for what ended up being my fastest lap, but my best splits were with 360 or so, just couldn't put the full lap together.

Here's my replay.

What happened to Ren-Tec's time?

Gonna cry now guys, i forgot to post my time and when i did remember it was to late :( :( :(, my fault.

Anyway great times there guys and well done to all that got gold on this one 👍 and hands up who did a Kubica in the double left before T1??, i know i did haha.

ps. if your interested i got a 1'27.694

Herman's is an X-port .xps file, meaning that it's probably a PAL format replay, since the X-port was the PAL Version of the Sharkport for NTSC. (Which gave .sps files) I think I got that right.

It's possible to dig up the conversion program for X-port/Sharkport ---> MAX Drive and vice versa from somewhere in the GT3 WRS area of GTPlanet, but only a PAL format racer will be able to view the PAL converted .xps ---> .max file.

Here's the link, I was wrong it's in the hybrids & Gameshark section. :guilty:

XPS/SPS ----> MAX convertor.

That thread should get stickied into the WRS FAQs if possible! ;) 👍

Man I cant tell you how much fun Ive had with the last two GT-R races. Amazing. Im still dumbstruck by how you D1 guys are pulling your times. Im going to pick up a Max Drive here in a few days and start studying your techniques. Ive picked up on a few things here and there as I read thru some of your posts and I have to say, you all are some tricky little devils. You have true knowledge and I would love to see all you guys on a real track.

A toast to all, it wasnt an easy one!

Well now thats the best news i've had all day seeing as i had a smash with my real car monday morning:yuck:

BIG CONGRATS to all the golds esp. Herman! (geesh what a run man!!!)
Would've loved to see it

Nice run there kel, u had me going for a sec:sly:... still cant believe ur a chic:scared:

Will post PAL replay 2nite

Last place?! What the...:ouch::lol: Now, what happened to Jerome and Nige when I needed them most...

It seems we have a new alien on our hands... Sweet time Herman!
Congratulations to smokin'

gold times in all divisions! 👍
I second that!!!!!!! (that's a pretty sweet smiley, by the way... haha!)

Kelly, you are definitely off your rocker. 👍👍

Great to see all the people in D3 racing as well.

And look at all the golds in D2... Man! Clemi!? Flying. I got beat by 4 people in D2. And I didn't spend only 1 hour on it this week. I know I could've shaved another .3 without too much trouble, and who knows how much more, but I didn't.

AWESOME racing this week. I wonder what Apricot will hold in store for us... That used to be one of my favorite tracks, but it's not the same as it was in GT2. :indiff:

If you'll convert it to a max-file, I'll verify it for you Herman. :)

Just use the tool smallhorses pointed you at.
