Important notice:
To streamline the WRS administration process, all replays for this race must be submitted within 7 days. This thread will be listed as "Unofficial" and will become "Official" when all posted replays have been checked. After 7 days, any racers achieving a Gold time who do not provide a replay will have their lap disqualified.

Please Note:
I will update this post during the week to include any posted replays and also keep track of which replays have been checked and by whom.

Quick Guide To Replay Checking:
  1. check the race summary, check that the tyres are Racing - Super - Soft and that the power is 542 hp
  2. firstly, check the replay from the farthest top view (press R1 twice as soon as the race starts then X if you need to switch to the outside camera)
  3. secondly, check the replay from the same view but in reverse (press L1)
  4. if you suspect more than two wheels leave the track, freeze the replay ('Select' button) to enter photomode
  5. if you suspect contact with a wall, check the data logger for any sudden spike in the cars speed under full throttle.

Congrats to Herman, Sjaak and Jon.

Thanks for a great combo. 👍 Too bad Ron and Meteo didn't show up again though. ;)

Wow, some close battles across the board. Congrats to all the tops 👍

One of these days Saak.... :dopey: Nice one mate 👍

Great race gents! It is nice to see my 40min of work really paid off :sly: heheh. Good race CMir, .003 I've never had a race so close, lol. But I think this is my second 2nd place in the wrs w00t! Now I just need a W, riiiiight....:)

Jerome

Wow, for a car that was so wildly unstable the racing was very close this week. Way go to the div2 frontrunners for looming large in those div1 mirrors. Seems like there were a few people who know this track better than the way home, I'd love too see how you did those sub 9 times, I'd have needed rocket boosters to shave off that much.

P.S. to Chukabilly.
Next time go to bed!!! :)

Arora's lap is clean. Nicely done. Sure wish I could see the difference between you a sjaak!

Congrats to all gold and podium' s this week.

All in all, the loss of one night's sleep left me tired but satisfied. I did manage my top five in D2, though I apologize to Strop for taking his spot.:D Next I hope to get a podium finish, though I doubt it will be this week as the competition here is so intense and I have a busy week ahead. But then again, maybe on a long dark night, a soft glow will emanate from a screen in a darkened Connecticut home, eerily framing the outline of a man clutching his steering wheel, fervently whispering curses at unseen foes, as the chukabilly stalks the night! Race on, or die trying!!:)

congrats to all podiums! very ashamed of my DLBF position but i invested little time and tho the track is great i dont care for (or understand much of) this car. also the early publishing of 131 didnt help cos that is such an addicting combo 👍 👍 👍

Great close racing in all devisions:thumb:
my reply is converted and attatched.

Well, ain't that annoying. The Mrs. and i went up to Boston to visit our daughter and when we came home today I had completely forgotten about this.

Wouldn't have minded so much except golds are few and far between for me and I had a 1:09.442.

Oh well. :dunce: 🤬 :banghead:

Congrats to all the winners 👍

Nice run bill, and no worries, a warm Mrs. feels way better then a wrs gold any day ;)

Grabing Jeromes replay now...

*ponders.....* Maybe 👍 Thanks for checking my replay Erik, aka another Board Challenge 7 'Boxer' w00t! nice job again dude!

Jerome

Thanks Jerome, and back at ya ;)

BTW nice clean lap 👍 nice 2nd sector and nailed the hairpin, could have found a little in the last sector I think.

Well, definitely one heck of a sweet race, this was! Thanks!!! Just wish I could've had a few more minutes this morning to pop into the 1'08 range... I was on track to do so, but only had time to snip off .020 from my previous posted splits before I had to run out the door and get to work a little later than I should've... :scared:

Awesome racing in all classes, and as always, it's GREAT to have you guys out here racing!

w000!

Damn good for 40 min Jerome, you're improving! You'll get a win, I know it. Especially if you only spent 40 minutes on this race... ;-)

That's the good 'ole WRS spirit man!!! I remember those days... Definitely helped me climb up from D3 to D1. I don't have nearly the dedication these days, as I have too much work to do most of the time.
the early publishing of 131 didnt help cos that is such an addicting combo 👍 👍 👍
Lol, that's why I ALWAYS make sure I don't try the next combo before I'm satisfied(or at least as much as I have time for) with the current week... :)
Oh well. :dunce: 🤬 :banghead:
Don't take it too hard on yourself mate! You at least know what you ran and know what is possible... 👍 👍

On to 131!!! Beware though, I'm going to MAKE time for this one. Starting, right now... I don't have to sleep for at least 3 hours... :sly:

well not bad for week one. if i hadn't been trying to convert my files to .max maybe i could have put more time on the track. just kidding though. went all out and that's all i had. just glad to have found some people to race with. hoping that some structure in my racing will bring about some faster times.

Yea I didn't stay off the rumbles on the last stretch but those blind turns are challenging, great track loved it since GT2 :D

Thanks for the comp Kyle, I hope to be seein' ya in Seattle soon 👍

I sure hope so man! Things are looking on the more positive side, but there's no telling...

This track was mo' betta in GT2, but it's still pretty good.

Checked a couple of replays in this thread too.

Sjaak. Clean with a margin as always and specs of course correct. 👍 Amazing control over the Jag, ouwe. Very very smooth racing. 👍 My race looks like a 13 years drifter in comparison. :embarrassed:

Herman. Clean and with the right specs. 👍 What can I say? Just damn fast. 👍
And if you wanna give something back to the community Herman, feel free to help with all this verifying ****. It's a tiresome work, so the more we are, the faster it's done. :)

Just a quick note to the moderators, I'll have Jake teach the process and get me whatever equipment I might need, but I am willing to help with the replays. I'd like to see the lines other drivers are taking and since I routinely spend two or three nights a week just staring at either a monitor or T.V., I certainly have the time. Insomnia does have advantages.

This is the one with the apparently stonking first sector... I've watched it beat me as a ghost car time after time, still don't know what made it so good...

NielsG's replay is clean with plenty of room to go, too :D

Checked Snod's replay - 1:09.393,542bhp,RSS and all 4 wheels on track for all but the chicane (when 2 wheels are miles on the track)
Absolutely clean as a clean thing.

Here's my PAL replay. I'd check someone's lap, but there is no PAL replay left for verifying :sly:

A green flag for arora, and DAMN you held some speed through that final chicane. I'd always cut it more than that, I wonder which is faster... Getting it as right as you did though, oh man. 👍 👍

A green flag for Jerome... :sly:

And a green flag for mtbiker157! If you get the hang of driving without the traction and stability control systems on you'll be in D2 in no time... Throttle control will become very important once you turn those off, but you can be soooo much faster. Give it a whirl! Maybe not with the Ruf this week, but give it a try sometime. 👍

Looks like some active replay checking this week

Thanks Ron B. 👍 And Kyle :) That was a lucky dance through there but I did notice that hitting the left just before was really the key to a good last sector ;)
