Congrats to rmk700 for a fine win in division 1, 👍 and not forgetting the remaining podium winners, arora and CMir. 👍👍

Division 2:
A great run from Perfect Balance gives him the division 2 win, 👍 and Quiksilver_GT and DJ Baker win the remaining division 2 podium places. 👍👍

Division 3:
This weeks division 3 winner is Andy2125, 👍 with OnlyMe and gtbadboy winning the remaining divsion 3 podium places. 👍👍





Important notice:
To streamline the WRS administration process, all replays for this race must be submitted within 7 days. This thread will be listed as "Unofficial" and will become "Official" when all posted replays have been checked. After 7 days, any racers achieving a Gold time who do not provide a replay will have their lap disqualified.

Quick Guide To Replay Checking:

1. check the race summary, check that the tyres are N2‘s (NTSC = Standard Comfort) (PAL = Standard Luxury) and that the power is 266 bhp (in replay)
2. firstly, check the replay from the farthest top view (press R1 twice as soon as the race starts then X if you need to switch to the outside camera)
3. secondly, check the replay from the same view but in reverse (press L1)
4. if you suspect more than two wheels leave the track, freeze the replay ('Select' button) to enter photomode
5. if you suspect contact with a wall, check the data logger for any sudden spike in the cars speed under full throttle.

This just shows how much time I lost in the last sector from fear of screwing it up. I was high on the leaderboard but I'm slower than the slowest d1 driver.

if u wish. a video should be sufficient enough though to verify my lap times.. i have proved that i'm a verified driver over the years, maybe u can grant me an excemption of some sort, seeing as how the days of gt4 wrs are numbered. plus it will benifit the ntsc users if i supply weekly videos of my runs, thats the main reason why i bought the capture card:tup:

And Kenny, our splits were so close, I had no idea you would get me at the line.

Off to Montegi west, where the splits mean little, which should make this a VERY interesting week.

Pulling off Perfect Balance's replay now and will also post my own when I return.

Perfect Balance's run in the bright red Opel is clean and Green, with correct Tires and HP. Glad to view such a sharp NTSC run, it helps me to learn. 👍

My run in the bright green Opel is attached for all to scrutinize. My lack of willingness or ability to drift the right after the tunnel is likely a big part of the reason I am in the middle of the pack in D3.

You are a seasoned driver. Therefore, you of all people should know that a video is simply not a valid form of verification. I accept that you are, and have always been a very clean driver, but that's not the point, and you know it.

I'm sorry, but the answer is no. As if it would be any other answer.

If you fail to supply your replay for verification within the allotted deadline, I will DQ your submission and remove it from the results table. Furthermore, seeing that this isn't the first time that we've been down this road, I will now request that you supply your replays (in the acceptable form) at the same time as your lap time submissions in future. Failure to do so will result in your submitted time being excluded.

You can say I used your slipstream down the final straight and made a brilliant move to pass you on one side while you were thinking I'd use the other side, just before the line

All three are different approaches to the combo.

I have not had a chance to look at RMK's yet, but I would agree with your comments on Alex's replay. He drifted several areas while staying under control. I was particularly intrigued by his drifting in the last set of corners after T2 and before the finish. I would not have thought to do that, was too afraid of and tired of banging into the walls.

I actually drifted those last few corners because i was afraid of understeering, and, of course, banging into the walls. I might add that drifting them only slowed me down, since I was really scared of screwing up at that point.

Well done to everyone who submitted and spent the time on this one, it was definitely a toughie. I knew my final sector was weak, but judging from how much trouble I was having I wasn't expecting to be down that far...
