Oh dear, I found this car to be quite a pig when I tried it in Arcade mode once before. Nice call on the -20 power though; that should make it much more drivable. Deep Forest reverse is hard for me, as well, especially if I have to keep off the concrete. I suppose this is yet another opportunity to learn a track by way of OLR! 💡

Ooo looks like a toughie this week. Not overly keen on Deep Forest, will have to see how it goes when I give it a bash in the coming days. :)

Looks fun, Sphinx.
This little car should rip through the forest sections quite well with softs. 👍

DF yummy! :drool::rolleyes::D
Very excited to see how the 4wd understeer of the HPA will work on this track ... hopping into it right now, and will get to LUXY as soon as some splits have been posted. Will do that jointly with Quik AKA Steve by the way, as I will be on leave to France next week during 158 and he offered to set up and maintain the board during my absence 👍 He doesn´t have to worry ´cos RenTec AKA Michael offered to help him out in case of trouble :)

Fun time?!?! FUN TIME?!?

j/k...haven't driven this car much and by the looks of my schedule lately I may but only get 1 or 2 chances. We'll see.

Deep Forest is one of my least favorite tracks in the game... at least in reverse. The car is pretty interesting too...

But still, should be fun. :D

First run in this, and it's actually pretty good. I would have even more fun with it if I knew the track, though. Sphinx, I should ask whether two things are track or not: the green stuff that's not quite grass but not quite rumbles (what is it anyway?), and the smooth beige stuff that looks like cobblestone and is sometimes behind red+white rumbles and sometimes on its own. This (slow) lap avoided both, however:

T1 - 24.388
T2 - 54.179

Part of track. You'll notice a clear line where it ends.

Part of the track.

Just to be sure, "Top Speed: N/A" means we can't adjust it, correct?

Correct - You are not able to make that adjustment in this car in arcade mode. Therefore, Not/Applicable

First D3 splits :):
T1: 24.785 24.046
T2: 55.197 53.894

Edit: You really need every space you can get with this combo, great!

First time for me.

T1 - 0'24.210
T2 - 0'53.535

:)

Had a fun morning session with this combo.

Its a lot of fun, Sphinx. 👍

Kept me away from gt5p for a while.

I know its hard, ain't it.!!

First splits for the week.

24.072
54.498

Looks like I need to work on the wooded sections.

 English is not my native tongue but I do know that in a certain industry that means quite something else than you meant :)

LUXY is awaiting my assistant Quik/Steve to immerse online so we can do the init jointly for his experience. So far Wayne is top dog I believe 👍

Well people LUXY leaderboard updated hope i got it right for my first try at updating any problems let me know!

I may not be posting my self for the first time this week, dont really like the track in reverse hardly ever drove it really! and the car on a DS2 is well shocking! abit unpredictable.

Happy Steven? LMAO

Quik!

Looks fine to me dude 👍

Jerome

First very slow splits from the craplap champion: 25.373 - 55.707
Slightly disappointed by the amount of understeer of the HPA, but very happy we're doing this on S3's otherwise the car would be all over the place ... :scared:

Many thanks to Quik/Steve for doing the Luxy init in prep of my next week's absence - right on the spot the very first time without any help whatsoever. Kudos from me if the GTP system would still work but it doesn't ...

Heh, I'm having a little bit of difficulty getting the hang of this car. Should keep me busy for a bit.

Made time for about 40 minutes tonight. The understeer took some getting used to, but I am really liking this combo. The car seems to be a great match for the track. 👍

23.953
53.941

Andy, I am in your mirror, can you see me? :sly:

Wow, I really suck at the first sector. It's just two corners, how am I so slow? Lack of ability to keep the back planted, I suppose. I tried "left-foot braking" for fun (on the DS2) and although I use the analog sticks normally, that seemed to give an advantage. I'm not going to change button usage just for this week, though. I like the sticks more than the buttons by far.

Anyway, this lap's last corner was pathetic but I hit the middle section much better.

T1 - 24.169
T2 - 53.540

Last week I was super slow in my first session, today I'm relatively slow. I don't feel as slow as I look though. Maybe it's the stress and not enough sleep? Still though. Meh.

Awesome combo though, good track, and the car makes it nice and challenging. Time everywhere, of course:

T1: 23.929
T2: 53.295

Actually, seems I'm not too far off the pace, just have to clean up the first section a good bit. Hopefully I'll have time to do so. SHOULD be moving this weekend, so won't have time to play, aside from maybe tomorrow night, I guess.

BTW, Steve, congrats on the promotion man!!! You definitely have your work cut out for ya, but you had me last week for sure, haha. Austin, be smoother with the car, ease on the brakes a bit more instead of jamming on them and cranking the wheel. This car'll kick out the rear under braking if you want it to, so you have to make sure you tell it that you don't want it to when you don't want it to. Haha, good luck!

I've found that out a time or 2 in the last hairpin. Had a lap where I was 0.7 ahead of my ghost at T2 and lost it all in the hairpin. :ouch: But at least I know it's out there. :dopey:

Hmm... I think I like this one! Maybe, if I can get something I'm proud of, I'll enter it. It's probably about time that I actually do a WRS event, after going to such trouble to do well in the qualifier.

Yes, left-foot braking helps with this car at the first corner and at the last one to keep stability (the last corner is very tricky, you can only brake with stability before the ideal braking point, and if you brake at the right point you'll probably spin without left-foot braking, and if you left-foot brake the speed loss won't be as effective as if you left the throttle alone :scared: )

I, too couldn't get under 0'24 at T1 before I realised 2 things:
- Shift very early
- Use 5th gear for the first corner
Now I can get several 23.6's

MAN!!! 5th gear on the 1st corner??:scared:
I barely stay on the track on 4th but some how i manage '23
The area before and during the tunnels are killing my T2 cannot get lower that '54.
