Important notice:
To streamline the WRS administration process, all replays for this race must be submitted within 7 days. This thread will be listed as "Unofficial" and will become "Official" when all posted replays have been checked. After 7 days, any racers achieving a Gold time who do not provide a replay will have their lap disqualified.

Quick Guide To Replay Checking:

1. check the race summary, check that the tyres are Sport Soft and that the power is 321 hp
2. firstly, check the replay from the farthest top view (press R1 twice as soon as the race starts then X if you need to switch to the outside camera)
3. secondly, check the replay from the same view but in reverse (press L1)
4. if you suspect more than two wheels leave the track, freeze the replay ('Select' button) to enter photomode
5. if you suspect contact with a wall, check the data logger for any sudden spike in the cars speed under full throttle.

Congrats xrad, and 2k2 Z28 for division wins. Definitely wanted to get another run in since I don't like looking at the replay, but I've been putting off my reading in one of my classes and now am taking some time off to catch up. I'll post the replay tomorrow.

Hi Andre - Yes, you would need to PM your time to the race steward (sjaak68 in this case) prior to the race deadline. That information was detailed in the first post of the race thread for this event, along with the rules in regard to replays.

Submission:
All submissions must be sent by PM to me
(sjaak68):

* you can submit only once per race
* please include in your submission PM your division, name and final lap time
* deadline is Monday13 October 6 pm GMT
* if you are unsure of the deadline try this site



Time verification:
Save your replay and keep it at least a full week after the time has been submitted:


* all gold times each week will be required to submit a replay for verification
* any submitted time is subject to a time verification request
* when a time verification has been requested, the concerned racer must provide a replay before the next race deadline
* failure to do so will result in the removal of the unverified submission from WRS results
* video replays are not accepted, only .max, .xps or .sps files can be verified

As we had mentioned to you in the thread for the BMW cup - We welcome all racers of all abilities, but for those that are running fast times within their divisions, we require replay proof in .max data format. One particular location on the internet to purchase the device you would need is here.

Video or pictures are not acceptable means of proving times. We can't make exceptions here as videos have been used and proven to be manipulated in the past (resulting in a ban from WRS & GT Planet for the member in question) which cast doubts on their viability. (Not saying whatever you post is manipulated, at all, just that it is possible to post-process a video or picture.)

Congrats to jmgyro and xrad for the division wins! A fun but challenging combo with those walls thrown in there.

I haven't made the time to run a WRS event in a while, so was good to get back in the swing of things!

Will post my replay when I get back to the DC Metro Area (should be sometime Saturday.)
