Strangely there has been fewer div1 submissions than we usually have, and div2 has been making the show this week, with a 0.002 gap between the winner and the second fastest time. Congrats to all those who kept on trying in this understeering FF car, and of course big congrats to Dan, not for his zillionth victory, but rather for posting good settings early in the week. 👍 👍

Checked your replay too which is perfectly clean 👍 - I'm impressed you did that time without cutting the first of the double lefts out of the tunnel before T2 - I hope that was allowed after all because I certainly did it. Maybe it wasn't the fastest way round there after all...

Anyway, congratulations to all the winners, podiums and gold times

Dan goes out in style of course, beating everyone after a half-hour session on the first day! Thanks for all your setup tips and advice over the last year fella - good luck for Paris and everything.

If only I had more time... I could've beat you all! Lol, maybe not, but I saw at least half a second in it, WITHOUT using the outside of the rumble areas. My time was done staying on the track, so that explains some of it, but yeah.

Did anyone else launch differently from the 4000 and floor it method? I was doing it differently, and I think it might've been better... Have the throttle pretty much floored, just a little bit off full throttle, then when the rpm drops down near 8000rpm gradually floor it. Try to make it leave the line with as much wheelspin without just doing a burnout...

Tried your settings but still had too much understeer so tweaked it a bit. Kept your damper setup 'cause it suited the car/track perfect.

BTW thanx for the initial setup help, you made every week that little bit easier

Thanks Dan - as mentioned I did have a good 2nd lap (a 1'23/.1xx) which came out of nowhere but I struggled to string together two fast ones.

I used your setup exactly in fact - started with it then tried tweaking it but invariably just messed it up so I left it alone in the end...

That 1'23.1xx 2nd lap was .2 faster than Dan's ... then again we raced most of the week, compared to his half-hour session

Yep, it was a really good battle - I put a lot of effort in this week. That's what's so great about this competition: responding to others' times and pushing yourself a bit further 👍

I wonder what people's conclusions were about the final time posting "test" ("test schmest!" Kent) - whilst not particularly wishing to reopen the whole debate here and now, it was interesting to see the difference it made to my way of participating at least. Clemi - did you run that last session in response to my last time posting or would you have done so regardless? Whilst it did take a bit of mystery out of the final results, who's to say I or anyone else wouldn't have run a last extra session to try and better the last posted times? Probably the idea of not posting splits in the last 24 hours wouldn't need to be enforced - it would just happen naturally. It's very complex though - lotta ins, lotta outs...

I thought I would be able to get your time but I couldnt. I kept .003 by my time for like 15 tries. Great race, when you posted your time I raced alot more.👍 I kind of liked the lap discussion, but whatever.
