GT4 WRS Week 59 Official Results

As you probably noticed, I'm just having less and less time available. For the first time in 7 months I didn't even have time to read carefully the whole thread this week. But it's good to see that the number of submissions doesn't drop dramatically (it even increases compared to the previous weeks), which show that the WRS can live by itself and belongs to the community of racers, certainly not to one single person.
Other than that, thumbs up to Dan for another alien time. If it was your last week as you announced earlier this week, everybody will miss you of course, but I can name a dozen racers who will be happy that they will now have a chance to win div 1
Thumbs up to Z. too for a crazy time too, to TeamLosiRacer who wins div2 with more than hald a second, and to AngelCreator for another div3 trophy. And congrats to all 26 who submitted.

Giddy up! I beat MADFORCE, by the leaderboard I though I was toast. I went with TCS this week, I think it ended up costing me half a second but I'm pretty happy with my time 👍

I second that! Got very frustrated this week trying out this and that - pleased with my time after all though. Amazed at the top times - even more than usual

you are quick in the 3rd portion too!

Actually, you were quicker than me in the third sector too (I got a new lap in about an hour before deadline with a T2 of 48.984)

0.002 doesn't look like you 'smashed' him. It's only a 4.6 inches gap at the finish line. Comparing both your replays in the replay manager must be great !

I actually didn't know his time when I submitted. So it was a total fluke to get that close.

That said, it would have been more if it wasn't for the 'change down' incident that I posted in the thread.

Ok. I admit, I did that deliberately. Just just to try and get a tie a la Ferrari @ Austria in....2003?

The overall time was a 1' 12.163.

I wonder what I'd get if I went round reverse and took it seriosuly . . .

2 guys running away with it... one guy comfortably in 3rd, and a huge fight for the points in the middle.

i liked. i was a bit lost during the week, but figure out saturday. didn´t run monday, due to BC. and also lost 0´3 in the last turn for been stupid. considering this, it was good.

Congrats to TeamLosi (nice barrier to break.. good run), AngelCreator (racking up a gold time yet again) and fasj (solid effort for the little time you had, mate). Last, but not least.. Dan, I knew you had me, I just never got motivated to go back and gain the ~.15 needed to overtake. Maybe if I had turned off TCS . . . ah well. Way to head out on a high note. Hope you'll still pop on MSN from time to time.

Those are some fast times!!! Congrats to all -- I'm really impressed with Div. 3 this week. Half of y'all would've won silver in Div. 2... You certainly kicked my @$$ this week, no doubt.

I'm going to download Z.'s replay here soon, and see what the heck I was doing wrong all week!

Well done everyone, especially those who continued to improve throughout the week, I think I reached my limit by about thursday last week.

Happy with 5th considering, here's the replay, I think. It might be one of the civic replays I downloaded last week, I forgot to clean up the max drive?

@Dan - Holl01. I've not been here long and not had the opportunity to get to know you that well but if this is to be your last race in the WRS for a while good luck with the Paris trip and don't stay away too long. 👍

So I just loaded Z.'s replay and looked at the data logger. I don't understand how you can full brake and full gas without any feathering of the pedals... It seems I loose all that time because I have to let up in the corners or I will get wheelspin even with TCS on. Someone needs to put on a driving clinic!
