Few submissions this week, as usual with GT Mode races, but lots of fun while running it.
Congrats to InsaneRacer for a submission on-the-edge, at exactly 9:00pm GMT.
And congrats to the division winners, shockwaveracing, ROB 256R and Gingiba.

Gold times in each division are requested to provide a replay.
Please post your replay before the week-end so that everything can be checked before the next race ends.
Posted replays will be attached to this post (after having been converted to .max format when necessary).


Quick guide to replay checking :

1. check the race summary, check that the car power is not above 300hp and the tyres are RS/RS or harder.
2. look a first time at the replay from the farthest top view (R1 R1 as soon as the race starts, X if you need to switch to the outside cam)
3. look a second time at the replay from the same view but reverse (press L1)
4. if you suspect a third wheel off track, freeze the replay (Select button) to enter photomode.

very happy with silver again, tho i'm not too happy with my performance. the car felt great and the track (in normal order) is my absolute favorite.
can we send cyril flowers or something for this week? i feel like bringing him some next time i'm around the med.
and 72 is also so promising ... how could one live without wrs?
EDIT and BTW to metar - congrats on your div3 gold mate! where the hell did you find those 7 seconds? a lil more practice and you'll be between the div2 guys easy ...

Oh, yeah. I tried my best, and, well, I'm a bit disapointed RedWolfRacer didn't submit... Gold by 7 seconds.

As You might remmember, two weeks ago my MaxDrive confirmation arrived... But the MaxDrive didn't. I hope it'll arrive this week before the deadline, but it should arrive someday...

EEK! Last, I didn't think it was that bad.

I fear there may be a rather scary 'tar being worn by a certain Div 1 driver this week.....Pent up anger's an ugly thing.

I'll get my replay up tomorrow, I'm off to find my disguise for next week.

Here's my replay. It's been checked by Ben and Randy but others can have a look at how dangerously close I came to the tunnel wall on lap 2 if they like

guess this week was my turn to miss the deadline... *shrug*
5'06.912 was the best three laps that didn't involve hitting that damn wall before the T2 tunnel.
was doing 1'47.5 and 1'38.6 just didn't have enough time to keep it together.
(why oh why did i have to goto a shool that has classes on labor day :E )

mad props to randy and shock... you guys are back with a vengeance.

Could have shaved at least a second off overall time. Second and third laps where low 39s when my best was 1.38.4xx. On the times submitted i really futsed the T3 last corner cost me 2 tenths on each lap. But it was the only clean combo. Also had the fastest first lap 1.41.0xx on time submitted so i was kinda happy. All in all very fun combo.

I looked over the rules and found I had mis-read (again). I used RSS tires when the rules CLEARLY state RS or Harder.

I'm sorry for the mistake, everyone. I guess I need to evaluate whether or not I really have the time to do this WRS correctly. Scanning through things quickly does not produce favorable results.👎

No sweat man I did the same thing on week 70, using RSS instead of RM. I was like thats not right, I should not be beating holl01 on the first try. **** happens dont worry about it.

Which again shows that when other WRSers are suspicious about a time (I didn't say nor mean about a driver, I said and meant about a time), most of the time it turns out to be for good reasons.

Don't worry about it. I think everyone has run on the wrong tyres at some point. I know i have, although usually people realise before it's too late.

I finally got myself a 2nd memory card so i can now easily check replays. Watched all the PAL ones:

shockwaveracing - 300hp RS/RS - nice moves overtaking into the first corner - clean

MisterWeary - 300hp RS/RS - got a huge tank slapper going through the tunnel on lap 2 but just managed to hold it (very close to wall) - clean

GPKart - 300hp RS/RS - bit of a hairy moment going over the crest before T2 and strange that you used TCS but it obviously worked for you - clean

Ren-Tec - 300hp RS/RS - a fairly uneventful DS2 lap - clean
