I'm pretty sure GT4P was almost completely different from the full GT4. I was just wondering if anybody knew the differences between the two games.

Also, i would like to think GT5 will be the same way. so i just want to give you all something to think about and hear your ideas on how much GT5 will be different from GT5P.

I think I already have an answer for you. The difference is, GT4 had massive content and GT4p is below 1/8's of the full GT4. Same goes to GT5p and GT5. I still don't get people seem to not understand what Prologue means. I knew it that it's a bad idea for PD to release a Prologue in U.S and U.K, even a long time GT fan don't even know what it is.

GT4P actually had much more realistic crowds, actually reacting to your movements in a much more realistic manner. None of that 2D cardboard texture. Some 3D models were in GT4 i know, but GT4P still bared the realistic crowds.

I'll Compare GT5:P vs GT5, if you compare me the 1992 Supra with the 2015 Supra:sly:

The fact that GT4P has better graphics than the full GT4 has very much to do with trying to fit the full game onto the limited space available on a DVD. GT4P like someone said earlier is 1/8 of the full game, so you can throw in for example better texture and overall better graphics because there's obviously less tracks, cars and a much simpler gameplay to take up the available space. With GT5 and it being on a Blue Ray Disc, space isn't that much of an issue.

Yet once, full GT4 took less than 6GB of 9GB of dual layered DVD, with everything the game needed and a few bonus videos. So DVD space wasn't an issue at all. Texture quality was chosen upon PS2 performance, not upon space on the DVD.

The main thing i guess im getting at is what was the big shocker in Gt4 that wasn't even thought of when GT4P was released.

A shocker i want to see in GT5 that nobody is really expecting is motorcycles. But i guess the shocker is NASCAR and WRC.

That was unveiled in E3 trailer but Kazunori said that there was shown very little portion of the game in the trailer. So you can bet he has many more trumps.

GT5:P vs. GT5?
Why are you comparing those two? GT5 hasn't even came out! I don't know about you but it's kind of hard for me to compare stuff when one of them hasn't even came out.

Reading comprehension fail there - and thanks for reporting the thread too...

The notion is that we had GT4 Prologue and then GT4. Using the differences between the two, can we then infer likely content in GT5 from the content we have in GT5P?

Yeah sure, I didn't mean to like hurt his feelings by reporting. But it saves room for making other threads.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this thread - unlike, for instance, 75% of the ones you've made.

Lol. Knock it off.

Plus Delphic Reason already took care of that. I hadn't read the AUP then. Now I have and I understand everything. Now I don't post threads.

Funnily that was exactly what I was going to say to you, after noticing you've had 75% of your threads locked, having to delete a bunch of posts from you today because they resurrected old, dead threads for no good reason and then seeing you'd reported a perfectly good thread because you didn't understand what it was about.

Edit: Oh, and sorted out two double-posts today alone.

Read more. Post less. Don't mistake this for a request.

Thanks Famine for backing me up lol :)
that is exactly what i was trying to say at the beginning of the thread.

Dude, You don't understand, I'm not trying to be mean. I didn't know that reporting was so mean. Sorry.

I think they should call the next GT release GT5 Epilogue, just to confuse the hell out of people.

Lol. Nice idea. It would also be quite irritating.

Thanks man. I actually think about it and now that Famine said it I can actually see what he meant it all makes sense now.
