Welcome to my new competition.
I hope to keep this competition open,
but to do so, you guys need to show interest.
So, just have fun and post a picture,
youve got nothing to lose =]

- Brightness & Contrast tool
- Crop tool
- Tool to change image size
- Tools to sharpen or alter the image in any other way then with the tools posted above, may not be used.
- Clone Stamp Tool (for removing watermark)


- Previews may be posted, but must be no larger then 400X300.
- Indicate your final entry with "Final Entry", preferred in Bold or in Red.
- When changing your entry, indicate clearly.
- No entries will be accepted after the deadline.
- You may only enter 1 image.
- You may only change your entry once.
- All images must be uploaded at Imageshack.

You must take pictures of any truck in GT4 on an offroad course.
it may not be manipulated in photoshop (except brightness, contrast and watermark)

well, first off,
i will make a stylized banner of the winning picture. and put it at top of next competition (as the welcome sign)
i will also, put that banner in my gallery, linking to your picture.
you will get to pick your favorite pictures in the next competition for me to choose the winner out of.
and, you get bragging rights =] haha

It would probably help if you made a poll or a interest check thread first to see if its what the people of GTP want, and since theres only like 10 vehicles that would count as trucks and such your competition is very limited.

By brightness do you mean brightness and contrast? THe two really go together, and I never use brightness without contrast because it makes it look really faded. Without contrast, the blacks all turn to dark greys, and honestly look awful. I need to use contrast that is higher than the brightness level, which obviously isn;t available in this competition.

removing watermark is fine, i just dont want any solo'd out pictures which is why i said no photoshop, but tahts completely harmless

contrast is fine, but be aware, that if you make the contrast WAYY to high (making the pictures orang and black looking) your picture will more than likely not be chosen, cause that looks ugly =]

I think there's 6 if you count the Diahatsu Midget.

-PS, (reply to loon) The themes arent always gonna be this simple, some will be harder than others, and etc. i will be spreading the competition around making it interesting every week.

and, minicooper, in reply to yours, u are right!!! haha, i looked not to long ago. however, isnt there 2 or 3 versions of the midget? i think thers 2, so technically there are 7 trucks... am i right? haha, its been so long since ive looked at the midgets, so i cant remember

it means dont make contrast go to the max, and leave the brightness alone, it looks ugly as heck, so, mostly thats just advice, and common sense =] and thanks for taking interest in this people, i cant wait to see the entries.

Not really a lot of great photos on here have extreme levels of contrast/brightness, especially when we cant do anything else. to the pic

ok, maybe i just dont talk with great english, even tho i live in america =p haha, do what you want with brightness/contrast and enchanments, just no photoshopping the picture to make other layers and etc. (adding different backgrounds, making the background more blurry, adding image overlays, etc. but feel free to put your own borders and watermarks etc.

basically, this is just a PHOTOMODE competition. but, yeah, like i said, feel free to enchance it, but not make the picture completely different. and im not trying to tell you how to edit them empty space. jjust yeah, stating some rules, if you have any adjustments to the rules thaat you feel would help, then say so, im flexible =]

Not many pictures yet!

I have more of my Dodge RAM ( I entered one in the unlikely rally vehicle Comp ). I might go with that as I saved a replay of me using the RAM to race at Grand Canyon, some close racing stuff there and I won't feel like I'm going over the same ground.
