So far for E3 09 polyphony digital is not on the list. It is early but i am just hoping this time they are there to say something about GT5, and not just oh look spec 4 for GT5p. GT5 has been in the making forever and seems like they would know if they were to have something for the show or not already and not 2 or 3 months before the actual show. Codemasters isn't on there either, most likely they will be considering they have the F1 license and are making the new f1 game.

Maybe or Maybe not. E3 is still months away, but even so, I am not holding high hopes considering how active PD (almost nothing) have been at all the game shows in 2008.

If they aren't, I will honestly lose some confidence in them. I mean, not revealing anything new for 3/4 of a year is not something I can take lightly.

Isn't PD usually under Sony Computer Entertainment, and not listed as Polyphony Digital? I could be wrong, but I thought that's how they were, and Sony Computer Entertainment is on that list.

Yes, that is what it seems like, I think everyone's true exclusives are combined into the their booth.

i belive your right on that matter. especially seeing how PD is a sub company or SCE. and dont we see this same forum made for like eery game show? PD isnt on the list and someone complains but come showtime they are there at the SCE booth?

Ya I would believe so. What games do PD design other that GT? Hence it being a good possibility of having a mini booth within Sony...but who knows.

I expect PD to show "something" during the Sony press conference. Hope we get the first GT5 images/video's. But well with PD you never know :sly:

I would hope so...it's already been a few months since there has been any new info/prologue game updates, and there has been nothing new, and no signs of anything new. So if they continue this trend, it would only be smart to finally show something at E3...but I hope they do so before that...

Maybe we'll see more GT TV programming like last year!! hahahahaha
It's ridiculous. I would be happy with one, ONE, screen shot of GT5 with cars that weren't yet shown before. Maserati, ahh?? lol

I think it's good. They want to surprise us (however I hope so).

They just GOTTA be showing something at E3. I'll go insane if they don't... especially if GT news remains as slow as it is currently until E3.

-> I feel something really big that is about to show up the next time PD comes up when E3 comenses this year. But we won't know if it would bean epic win or epic fail. :indiff:

they have to be showing it at E3 ( like 99.9% have to )... if they are to release a game this year then there HAS to be advertising for its release by half a year to 4 months...around that timeframe becuase they wont release a game with a month aheads notice... if they dont release gt5 at E3 im going to kill someone... it just doesnt make sense business wise

unless....

gt5 is released 2011.

then when i return from the dead, ill kill myself again.

That's not surprising, that's scary. PD doesn't seem to know psychology, as they're losing a lot of people except for us die-hard fans the longer they wait to reveal anything. They're either too confident in themselves, or too confident in us as buyers.

I doubt it really matters if there is no advertising. Those who may be "lost" as customers will most likely come back once the game is out as it has a reputation in itself and soon as any magazine starts saying 10/10 or best driving game this year the sales will come in. Those who aren't lost simply wait, others winge.

Silence is a good sign. KY has said he will suprise us. Giving us info about the game and updates is like telling us the game wont be out for a while. You need silence to make a suprise and at the moment PD is telling us that things have progressed and the game is on its way to coming out.

Assuming the masses are fed up just because you are is questionable logic. Besides, what exactly does "lost" mean? Never coming back? Hardly, I expect GT5 to be a multi-platinum pre-seller. Bought another game? So what's wrong with that? I bought Enthusia - big mistake, Forza 1 and 2, Toca 3, and I intend to buy Ferrari Challenge. But do I still cherish GT5 Prologue, and anxiously await Gran Turismo 5?

You bet. 👍

Well I doubt all that many people are 'lost' due to lack of info, it's like a few game series I am into, I don't follow the forums and news but when it nears and I see promos then I go buy. I bet most of GT sales are that way "oh, GT5 is here, that looks cool" and the ones that are fed up with lack of info end up getting back into it when the info comes.

I remember Half life 2 was taking forever and I was sick of their unmet promises, I gave up, but when it really was released I still went and bought it, and enjoyed it.
