GT5 Drift Soccer/ Football

I came across a room the other day and the owner had an idea to go to top gear test track, And have a game of 'car soccer' he called it. He was prepared to be the ball and teams of 5 were to try and hit him to their goal line on one side of the straight.

I was so enthusiastic about this new sport emerging on GT5 and started plotting all different tricks my mind could muster to maneuver a car to go where I want it too. Sadly while the top gear track was loading I was disconnected

anyway I was wondering if any of you would like to try this sport out. Im looking at arranging a friendly game so that we may all input on various rules and regulations needed in this sport to even out the playing field.

The sky is the limit with possibilities here people so leave nothing to our imagination. These are suggestions thought up by GT Planet members.

-5-7 players per team.
-ball is now a subaru 360 '58 or Fiat 500 (due to lightweight)
-Cars to be used by players: Nascar with Comfort Hard tyres.


Please let me know what your thoughts are on this and we'll see if we can get this thing established via a GT Planet forum.

hmmm yes its a likely candidate.

I wonder what sort of penalties we should put in place. Should we just all run the same car or should we be allowed to use whatever we want. ahhhh the possibilities.

Our if a player intentionally his another player with the ball not even near him, the team its given a 'free kick'at the goal (of course your could defend like a real soccer game) these are just a few ideas. It is, but I don't know if its patched yet. Most rooms use the fiat 500 as the ball and two team with matching colored R35s as the ball.

ok the subaru is wicked good for a ball. I have a friend smashing me around in a nascar and my car flys down the str8 from impact. He's also having a blast.

how much does a fiat weigh?

ok a redbull can make the 360 fly about 10m off the ground. from half way on straight can hit goal.

I think NASCARs on ch tires and a Subaru 360 as a ball.

I think if the ball is inside a certain 'square', the driver of the ball can touch the throttle for a second just to fumble it.

Now with the 2.02 update you can mix cars and karts you just have to change the regulations to karts, bring out a karts and change regulations to unlimited and the kart stays out on the track then everyone brings out and x1and we see how well we can bend it
