One thing I noticed: When the person drove off the track (which he did a lot), the throttle control thing didn't kick in!

He had traction control on and the the throttle control was kicking in a lot. Didn't you see that?

I could say the same about your reply, but I won't. Oh wait...

Sorry for being somewhat harsh, i just thought it could have been posted in an existing thread as it didn't show anything really new.

I will change it now i look back on it...again my apologies.

Fairy snuff! As a video, it was new to me though! But, you are right about it not showing anything new really. The thread is in the wrong place too ;)

Fair enough ( man, i had to look it up, being Dutch and all, thought you were dissing me... ).

All I want to know at this point is info on the track count, what tracks are in, and some more info on NASCAR. We know weather and night racing are in so really anything else at this point is icing on the GT5 cake.

I was driving a Nissan GTR, the pedals were very soft so I had no feel and with the sound down it was difficult getting any feedback, alas I only had time for the one go hence a few off's as I never really had the chance to perfect it. Overall I couldn't judge or give any opinion on the handling but I look forward to giving it a proper run on my G25 when the opportunity becomes available.

Hey I thought ^^ he did a pretty good job keeping it on the road. That AI wasn't kicking the can around like in the other timed demo videos I've seen.

Awesome who better to get to test it and demonstrate a properly driven lap for a change than Dan Holland. That's more like it ! Now we can really see what the game looks like in terms of grip and physics. The sounds are more real and the rear end seems more accurate even to the extent of catching Dan out a few times in this case though more rear grip than he expected in what was probably a short run of laps.

Bring on more samples demonstrated by proper drivers I say !

what car was he driving? EPIC!

It was the JGTC GT500 Xanavi 350Z if I remember correctly. The 14 competitors who didn't make the final 4 had an hour to kill in between activities so we had a 1 lap shootout on the GT5 demo for a bit of fun.

Dan was fastest followed by me and Roberto (GTro_rootbe).
