For What It’s Worth: I got a chance to run the GT5 demo at my local Gamestop. I got to run on our favorite track “ the Ring” and I want to give a bit of encouragement to all the Shifters when you get your copy of GT5, the handeling difference between Shift and GT5 are nominal at best. From what I could tell given the fact that I am a spoiled wheel user and I was forced to use the evil D-pad, I felt like I was driving Shift. My last dose of GT4 was on the Ring and my Shift experience allowed me to blast the Ring and get that test out of the way for my level of accomplishment, so now I have a taste of GT5s version, it showed me that they did their homework and gave me what I was looking to find. I got the feeling of elevation change, that was the one thing that I haven’t been able to experience fully w/ GT4 or Shift. The difference in graphics between GT4 and Shift is equal to the difference between Shift and GT5, it just hits you between the eyes “WOW”.
The handling of the car that I used, the Audi R8 with R3s suited up and the traction control set to 5, felt like a mix between GT4 and Shift. I think that if you loved GT4 and found Shift to be a great game you are going to have the time of your life and will feel like your at the Ring.
