From a personally selfish point of view I have no interest in bikes and therefore hope PD do not add them into GT - I'd rather they spent their time adding more things related to cars.

If they were to add bikes I would of thought it would make more sense to make TT2 in that they'll make more money that way - the return on investment should be high as most of the engine (I would have thought) is already in place. If they did make TT2 it could benefit GT in a roundabout sort of way.

haha why, they're slow and painful. Useless online & offline...and pointless in photo-mode because they look dumb.

Obviously this is your opinion but in my opinion driving these cars is like living in the playboy mansion but sleeping with Oprah.
Being slow is pointless, it's precious car history. You'll most likely never see one in real life, so the next best thing is having it modelled in the glorious detail that premium cars are.

Your basically saying a different game. I agree.
If people want bikes and cars then play PGR. If the thought of Xbox makes you an angry person, then play motorstorm or SBK X.

Let PD make a separate game for Bikes, trucks, quads, tractors etc.

ok if they could just add it in as dlc why not? Why have them produce an entire game, sell it to us for 60 when we could get it for 10 or 20 and PD save money at the same time, plus more people would probably buy the DLC, seeing as it's inexpensive, than they would as an entire game on it's own. It's win win here for everyone.

And what is the problem here with bikes being in PGR? Do the bikes always win in races or something??

Why? Because I actually liked to drive that Model-T in GT4 for one, simple as that ( exactly for the reasons you hate it apparantly ).
Those 19th Century Benz and Daimler were put in the supposedly encyclopedia of automotive history called GT4 for their historic significance and to use as a reference point to show how cars have progressed since.
The fact you could experience them at all in a videogame ( where else? ) and therefore their obviously poor performance figures means you might appreciate the progress made over more than a century and maybe even respect these early machines for their role in automotive history.
Saying they look 'dumb' says it all I guess and a highly subjective 'argument' providing no compelling reason at all to consider changing my opinion.

wel said 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

The problem with PGR 4 is that it is a stupid concept. Hence PGR 3 is better.
Tell me how do you find the handling in SBK X and moto GP?

gt6 = ps3, 1000 premium, nascar, supet gt, wrc, kart, formula1, bikes, all track weather, all track day and night, real track editor, complete livery editor, complete customization (interior/exterior) the complete gran turismo for ps3 : P

Link please.

In regards to bikes taking precious time out of premium development. PD already has over 135 bikes modelled I don't think it would take more than 1 modeller to port and 1 intern to configure to get these working ingame. Even if they took an extremely slow time of 1 bike per day that would only equate to the loss of 1 premium model.

In regards to people saying they don't want bikes as DLC. Don't buy it! It really is that simple.

There we go.

To be honest, I've never tried it so more the reason to offer it for people who are curious. As I said i'm just getting into the bike scene, and what I like about them are the engine notes they deliver, the acceleration, and just the openness of not being encased in the cockpit of a car. And I know if anyone were to make a good bike game, it has to be PD. Their reputation speaks for themselves.

I just checked the sales of TT and it was only like 100+k...I think it could do a hell of a lot if it was offered as DLC because even those who may be against now will be like, hmm..maybe I'll give it a try, cause it's not a game on it's own. you don't have to go out and buy it.

this only for PS4 ;)

Adding bikes is good logic eh.

I bet they won't poison GT with bikes, that's logic.

hey you ! lol ... they have a bike and auto game .. on the same engine and tracks .. hellooo .. if they can add karts, nascar wrc.. they can add bikes and red bull air race if they want .. this is driving evolution ! bike is driving no !?!?

Premium cars are just assets, assuming GT6 is a sequel made for the PS3, most of the tech would be in the stage of refinement\optimization and not in need of being created from the ground up (costly\time consuming).

I guess PD could manage the production budget\development in a different way, like giving more focus to the creation of assets (cars and tracks) by outsourcing or hiring more staff.

Except they don't have 135 bikes modeled to GT5 standards. I think you're greatly underestimating the time necessary to add bikes. Once the car portion is perfect, PD can worry about adding non-car stuff imo. Plus, they shouldn't be racing together anyway. If they're not racing together why have them in the same game?

To be fair they don't have 800 cars modeled to GT5 standards.

when would the car portion ever be perfect? It wouldn't, there are always new upcoming cars. No they shouldn't be racing but they can always govern it to just having bikes with bikes except for open track days. Then a bike could just start having it out with a Veyron, how could that not be fun..

You forget that they can develop it for like 2 years and then suddenly realize that it has to be PS4 title and here we go! Another 6 years for new GT.
(But don't get me wrong, It's not bad - I respect every decision that Kaz and PD made).

I'm assuming the bikes in Tourist trophy are modelled to the same standards as the standard cars in GT5, which lets be honest, aren't really that different from the premiums on the outside, so with no interiors to worry about modelling, what's the problem?

And to answer your question 'they shouldn't be racing together anyway. If they're not racing together why have them in the same game?'. Just think about other games (such as Toca Race driver 3) where you have cars from different racing series all in game. You can't mix and match the different cars in those games but was that ever much of a problem?
