Sponsorship means nothing.
Indeed, but the other car which was sponsored by Gran Turismo (and not just the front window banner, but the car itself) was the Oreca R8 at Le Mans in 2005. And what happened to that?![]()
When did GT4 come out?
Early 2005. It came too late to put it in GT4 and there hasn't been a full game since.
GT5 Master Car List (NOT a wishlist - Please read first post)
Audi
R8 (PlayStation Team Oreca Le Mans, '05)
That doesn't mean its not coming out.
cant we all just wait 8 more days and see whats going to happen... enought with the speculations...
Chris
If you're so patient and averse to speculation what made you check the thread in the first place?
I do apoligize if this has already been posted but apparently everyone world wide has 220 days left to wait for the big moment as of this day 24th of the 5th 2009

I'm not sure why The359 included it in his GT5 Master Car List either, because I don't recall seeing it in any Gran Turismo 5 screenshots or videos. However, I do know that the Team Oreca Audi R8 was in the online test version of Gran Turismo 4, so it hasn't not been in Gran Turismo. His car list is flawed in many ways.
We told him about it, but he brushed us off.
oh well
That site isn't really credible as it doesn't use Sony as its source.
You do know thats been racing in the 24 Hour Nurburgring and has nothing to do with GT5. Gran Turismo sponsor the event, hence the bar on the windscreen is on every car. And thats just the Playstation sponsored ABT Audi R8.
I may sound abit harsh here but you should probably check first, I've seen loads of people posting N24 cars and claiming it shows something massive about GT, which it doesn't of course.
Those interviewing Polyphony Digital legend Kazanori Yamauchi at E3 tomorrow have been told not to ask questions about Gran Turismo 5, VG247 has learned.
Meaning? Well, presumably that the game du jour for the Sony car kids is going to be GT PSP only.
SCEA’s John Koller confirmed GT was on the way to PSP Go in the “leaked” Qore ep this weekend, and it now looks clear the focus will be on the handheld title as far as Gran Turismo’s concerned.
When is that story from? Basically, I want to know when "tomorrow" is. If that means any day before the official Sony conference then they are basically being told to only ask about what is confirmed. If tomorrow means after the conference, then yeah, it doesn't look good.from vg247.com
Rumour: Yamauchi wont talk GT5 at E3
thats mean we ever can see the game early 2010
GT 5 realese date : the day that never comes !!
