your right it doesnt mean much but i also believe that they are going to include that car into GT5

Chris

+1

That is exactly what I think, GT5 sponsored all the cars last year afterall, but I would be surprised if that R8 wasn't in GT5.

And if they dont include this one there will be at least the LMS without sponsoring for sure.
The relationship with Audi is too big to not include it.

Indeed, but the other car which was sponsored by Gran Turismo (and not just the front window banner, but the car itself) was the Oreca R8 at Le Mans in 2005. And what happened to that? ;)

When did GT4 come out? ;)

Early 2005. It came too late to put it in GT4 and there hasn't been a full game since.

Not sure if this qualifies as news or if it has already been posted by someone but today I was looking through the upcoming releases section of the latest Famitsu magazine. Gran Turismo 5 wasn't anywhere to be seen in the PS3 list. But GT4 Portable was listed for PSP - no release date though.

That doesn't mean its not coming out.

Never said so.

Famitsu always have a chart of the most anticipated games and Gran Turismo 5 for the PS3 is currently ranked 13th on that list. This is partly why its absence from the upcoming releases list jumped out at me.

cant we all just wait 8 more days and see whats going to happen... enought with the speculations...

Chris

Wasn't speculating at all, merely reporting what I had read in a reliable games magazine. My post had a point to it. I can't see any point to your post however. Truth of the matter is that all of us have no choice other than to wait for the official announcement.

If you're so patient and averse to speculation what made you check the thread in the first place?

His car list is flawed in many ways.

We told him about it, but he brushed us off.

oh well
I'm not sure why The359 included it in his GT5 Master Car List either, because I don't recall seeing it in any Gran Turismo 5 screenshots or videos. However, I do know that the Team Oreca Audi R8 was in the online test version of Gran Turismo 4, so it hasn't not been in Gran Turismo.

You do know thats been racing in the 24 Hour Nurburgring and has nothing to do with GT5. Gran Turismo sponsor the event, hence the bar on the windscreen is on every car. And thats just the Playstation sponsored ABT Audi R8.

I may sound abit harsh here but you should probably check first, I've seen loads of people posting N24 cars and claiming it shows something massive about GT, which it doesn't of course.

EDIT : Should use a better pic too

EDIT 2: Looking back to the previous page, you do know what I've just said and people have told you that sponsorship means nothing, so why post a different image of the same car again?

About point 1, I said the same. I never claimed that having just a windscreen banner means the car will end up in GT5, just saying that it is the only car sponsored by Playstation and Gran Turismo on other places then the windscreen banner.

The reason this car stands out from the others is that it is ran by the Playstation Team and is being sponsored by Playstation (hood) and Gran Turismo (roof + back), and the recently released video on Le Mans was an Audi R8.

Doesn't mean anything, just mentioning :)

Wait, did they call us a cult?

Time to get in your jogging suits and matching sneakers. Don't drink the punch until I say.

Rumour: Yamauchi won’t talk GT5 at E3

Those interviewing Polyphony Digital legend Kazanori Yamauchi at E3 tomorrow have been told not to ask questions about Gran Turismo 5, VG247 has learned.
Meaning? Well, presumably that the game du jour for the Sony car kids is going to be GT PSP only.
SCEA’s John Koller confirmed GT was on the way to PSP Go in the “leaked” Qore ep this weekend, and it now looks clear the focus will be on the handheld title as far as Gran Turismo’s concerned.

thats mean we ever can see the game early 2010

GT 5 realese date : the day that never comes !!

When is that story from? Basically, I want to know when "tomorrow" is. If that means any day before the official Sony conference then they are basically being told to only ask about what is confirmed. If tomorrow means after the conference, then yeah, it doesn't look good.

I never imagined a video game could have me staying up at nights just thinking about it much less spending hours online searching for any leaked information in forums and websites . I will not be sleeping comfortable tonight fo sure because E3 is less than a day away the to hear that disturbing rumour.
