I don't want to sound lame or anything.
But why are you guys discussing car colours in a gran turismo forum.
I understand there's nothing else to talk about for the moment,
but damn... it's so weird . Car colours, sound systems, ... help!

:sly::sly::sly:

You're talking about this? Don't believe it - that was one of CVG's April fool's jokes.

New video from Mimaximax, "GT5 Replay Gallardo LP560-4 on Indy":

Sure to hit the front page soon, but enjoy anyway!

@ 1.42 seconds in this clip when the Lambo overtakes the Enzo and you go to onboard view,I thought GREAT,the driver gives a "thumbs up" to the guy in the Enzo...But than i realised he whas shifting up ....looool...Really wierd animation if you ask me,hope they change this a bit when final product comes out ....sometime...👎

spy.

not to be an ass, but I posted that about 4 pages back.
Jeez, so shoot me, I've made the world come to an end... I may spend a while around here, but I don't monitor each and every post that is made, nor do I carry out a detailed search in the event that I am duplicating a response that somebody might have made.

Still, it just goes to show why having a "general discussion thread" in a very active topic area is completely pointless.

To be fair, I was hoping that Enzo would stay in the lead as I suspected it would do hammering down the straight, but the AI got out-braked!

That's not an interview, it's a preview of an interview that we will probably see on May, dammit, with things flowing slowly as this, it's hard to believe in what the user Gran Turismo 5 has been posting. Also, the site talk about an eight page racing preview, which features Modnation racers, blur, F2010 and more.

I can see no "flood" of information coming, all things are helping us to believe that's E3 is the date to be reckoned as the biggest GT5 full game showcase or the biggest deception of the year. if E3 passes by, and we only get a release date in TGS, we'll see the game only for christmas, and that's bad in my opinion. :grumpy:

I had a dream last night that GT5 released without any fanfare or prior news of a release date. It could only be purchased offline and because I didn't know it had released, all the copies were already purchased hereabouts and I couldn't get one! There were some reserved copies, but the lady at the counter was militant and wouldn't accept bribes. ALAS!!

Yes, I have vivid dreams.

Thought ya'll might get a chuckle out of this.

I agree Dan, but the game is so late now, and people are so downbeat about it, that I really can see SONY just telling PD to take their sweat-ass time over it and just get it finished for a global release around this years holiday season. I hope I'm wrong though.

Are your ears unable to be fooled? I know the only two cars I can't tell apart in GT4 by sound are the Ford GT and Panoz Esperante, and I don't have an "awesome sound system" and I'm going deaf and senile in my dotage.

I know what the procedure is for each car. What they do with the data after that is their prerogative.

Your argument requires others to prove things to your satisfaction. If you choose to believe them or not, that is your prerogative - though you must be aware that by remaining so close-minded you instantly put yourself into an inescapable box where you can only ever be 100% right or 100% wrong.

However that doesn't mean you can be so antisocially rude to people who put forward quite reasonable evidence for their position while doing the equivalent of ramming your fingers in your ears yelling "LALALALALALALALA".

For instance, you've now called on me to provide proof of a discussion I'm not involved in. Why? Because I said Paulie's post was reasonable evidence. I neither agreed nor disagreed with him, but you've latched on to my post in that manner, for some reason. You've boxed yourself in with your mindset and are reacting aggressively to anything that seems to contradict that mindset. Paulie's position is reasonable and he's provided reasonable evidence. Your position was reasonable, but you've responded with "lol" and changed his quote to "blah blah blah". Open your mind, Quaid.

:bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:. End of discussion.

Gran Turismo 5 who are you?
i follow you since the beginning:D
Mmmm myth person.

Maybe it's the actual game we're all waiting for, being so overdeveloped it has actually started to develop its own conciousness recently and seeking contact with its future owners. :scared:

October is really late, that would suck...

This 20 tracks 70 variations makes me confuse :S

1000 cars and only 20 tracks is a bit unbalanced... A variation of a track is not a real new track for me... So this 70 variations is nothing...

I´m sure we get at least 50 tracks... We already got 5? 6? tracks in GT5P, then we saw Nordschleife, indianapolis, le mans, tokyo, madrid? rome?

There must also be some WRC tracks, some oval´s for Nascar and some classic GT courses...

:tup:You gave me my best laugh of the day. When discussion gets overly serious, mood improvement is welcome.

The most frightening thing in life is the unknown.

Darkness, the absence of light, is an innate fear.

You have been removed from such lights for quite some time.

But I have seen great lights. The brighest in many years.

And in my hand I hold a torch. Our torch.

I point it in a favorable direction. Our direction.

You will not be led astray. We will not be led astray.

And as the pathway extends toward its end, trust will be earned.

But this trust depends upon you. Upon you, friends.

20 Locations.
70 Tracks.
