Uhm. That's not what it says. It rather hints at the Red Bull F1 car being included in GT5, because that's the ONLY thing Newey and Vettel both are involved with.
My sentiments exactly

I don't mind that so long as you can back up your GT5 game save to an external device.Like the car transfer thing. You can transfer, but you can only use them in arcade apparently, which is only fair, no cheating with a full garage in career mode![]()

If console failure is your concern then you should be doing a full HDD backup, which isn't limited by locked saves. Locked saves might not properly transfer to a new system, but if you are hoping to use the same system then an HDD backup will do the job.I don't mind that so long as you can back up your GT5 game save to an external device.
GT5's career mode is so extensive there needs to be a means to back up your game save otherwise potentially many hours of game time will be lost in the event of a console failure.
Nope, it sounds exactly like the F430 in GT5p.

I was about to flame this guy and call him a troll...
Except he is right. We've seen vastly improved engine sounds, but this Ferrari seems to have slipped through the net. There is still hope that they have the engine sounds ready and just didn't include them in this demo. Let's hope they are something like what we heard in the trailer.
The SuperGT cars sound exactly like they did in the trailer, and to some extent so did the WRC and NASCAR cars. But the road cars don't.
I must admit that was funny but are they really in? Not that it matters to me but i have seen some people mentioning it here
Guys I've just put some interesting pics in this thread:
GT5 Photo mode and B-spec
Enjoy
So at Gamescom we get the rest of the deal?
New sounds, dynamic weather, skidmarks, livery editor and the game is complete!
p.s. I've given up on 3d trees.![]()
It appears we get the full monty at Gamescom and it struck me this E3 presentation was for the most part squarely aimed at the US ( muscle cars, NASCAR ) and we will perhaps get more European cars at Gamescom and maybe more Japanese ones at TGS.
Not sure this is just me who thinks this is their strategy, but judging from this E3 presentation it might be the case.![]()
You got to admit, we got a lot of good news this year at E3. Much better than TGS 2009.

The more I watch all this, and the more it all sinks in... the more I'm actually worried.
The fact of the matter is, Kaz has made it abundantly clear that his primary concern is modelling accuracy. That's well and good, but I don't need a screw accurately rendered on the bottom of the back bumper, near the exhaust. Having "Premium" shouldn't be a feature... what other game has two seperate tiers of model quality? It's poor planning, that's all; if they realized their models were taking too long to complete, they should've scaled back their goals so that all cars were modelled to the same level. Nobody's going to look at Prologue and say it looks like crap. I'm not saying the newest stuff isn't fantastic looking, because it is, without a doubt... but at the expense of other features.
The Photomode additions being the most frustrating; we don't need the ability to walk! We can place the camera anywhere as is! And we don't need sound for picture-taking! The only thing Photomode really needed was a free-range camera in races, and a re-jig of its interface to more match a real camera. That's all. Not The Real Walking Simulator. The new additions make it sound like they're aiming to turn Photomode into a screensaver...
It's also a bit worrying the car count on track has steadily declined. Sure, there's still the mention of up to 16 cars on track, but we haven't seen it. Even with the Standard cars. We have four months to see how all this changes, but I still have my doubts. We need more than The Prettiest Car Simulator.
And before I get all the fanboys up in arms, this is all coming from a fan, who will almost definitely be buying on release day. I hope I'm proved wrong on all fronts!
