Anyone else feel that a livery editor is getting further and further away from reality? I don't think it'll make the cut.

I'm kind of not convinced that a track editor will be in now either.

Man...I change my mind on a daily basis on a whole host of features that are yet to be confirmed/talked about in detail.

I apolgies for bringing up the Chevy discuusion again but still no one posted a car no matter what clour the stripes have that have the stripes actually running down to the front headlight so maybe just maybe livery editor.

Is that really a plant in that window of that building there? And look at all the other details like the lights inside... Insane amount of detail.

I'm obviously over-tired since my first thought was an overgrown gummi bear waving. His eyes are just at the top of the window frame...

Yes, at least two people did, and it matches up with the car in the screenshot. You're just confusing yourself with different angles.

No, the car in the screenshot is the same as the one just pictured. It's a black car with white stripes. The fact that it's night time with low visibility and other lights glooming in the area confuses the look a little, but it's still black with white stripes.

The new Camaro is in, so I wonder if the faster 2010 5.0 Mustang will make it into the game. As well as the new 3.7 v6 model.

I doubt it since it has a different body and interior. I really wish PD would not even bother with the GT and just go strait to the GT500 which can now actually turn as appose to just be able to go straight.

Cars that have subtle variations are better for PD because they only have to model a certain part of the car once. Viper SRT-10 - Viper ACR for example. GTR - GTR Spec-V. With this mentality I REALLY hope the include the Ferrari 599 GTO. But then again they would probably get the noise wrong...

It seems unlikely since they've shown the new Challey and Camaro running together, but only the older '07 Mustang. Which is a shame since the new cars are so completely different from it :(.

Here's hoping though, the other 1/4 or more of Premiums still are secret and we're bound for a few surprises.

Hopefully the new model is in, it looks sleeker and better than the Camaro to me, and it's faster. As far as marketing is involved, the virtual comparo should be done in fair conditions to both sides, current Stang vs current Camaro. I just don't know if PD would have the time taken to model the Stang, since it was unveiled in late '09 as far as I remember.

Quick little notice: I went to the Dodge site and built a Viper and apparently there are 5 different versions of the SRT10 Coupe:

1. Viper SRT10 Coupe
2. Viper SRT10 ACR
3. Viper SRT10 ACR Snakeskin Green ACR Edition
4. Viper SRT10 ACR 1.33 Edition
5. Viper SRT10 ACR Vooodoo Edition

And since we've seen a lot of the ACR and not a lot of the Coupe, I suspect that the ACR is, like in real life, a trim option for the Coupe in the game. And I would even suspect that the Roadster and Coupe might be selectable from the same purchase menu.

Prologue already had the SRT10 coupe

They will be counted as seperate models, as has always been the case in GT. The ACR shares some components with the coupe, but it has so many different components aswell. It's like comparing a 330i with an M3 or a DB9 with a DBS, completely different models derived from the same base.

Not really. the ACR is pretty similar to the Coupe. The ACR just has a racing trim package and a smidge more horsepower. It's like the Spyker C8 LM85, the Gallardo Superleggera and the Porsche 911 GT3.

And it's been a couple years since GT5P so they could have completely redone the car buying menu. And we have yet to see the Buy menu in GT Life mode. And I'm sure they'll be counted as different cars, but that doesn't mean that the ACR couldn't appear as a trim option when buying the Coupe.

I hope the 80's\90's Mustang 5.0 makes it!

     WOW BEAUTIFUL MUSTANG!
I think i prefer this model over any of the new ones!

.... when cars were lighter and smaller...

If i were to rank Mustang

1) 60's Mustang
2) 80's Mustang
3) the newest Mustang GT and ford's new V8! 👍

What about TDU2 and Need For Speed Hot Pursuit? I mean, there are a few racing games that are up coming that I want to play. (Motorstorm 3/4 is another one but it doesn't come out until next year)

They 'could' have, but look at the 800 standard cars; They're from GT4 and GTPSP. If they removed the car variations like this there would only be around 500 standard cars not the estimated 800. It means they're still counting them as seperate models, and including them as 'trim' options would complicate the buying menus. And a lot of people on here have voiced their opinion that the simplistic GT3 menus were better the the over-complex GT4 menus. Though I personally would welcome what you are saying, a lot of people would hate that idea.

The best indication we have so far about trim options being included is one of the demos which showed the SLR Mclaren 19" wheel option on the race menu screen.

Not necessarily. One of the Subarus in GT5P was the same. "Impreza WRX STI (18inch BBS Wheel Option) '07"

I don't think it'd complicate buying menus. In fact I think it would simplify them. I mean, think about. Instead of going to Nissan and sifting through 80 Skylines, you click on "Skyline R34" and up pops a menu listing all the trim options. It could effectively reduse the amount of time spent in menus, and it'd ad a bit of depth to the game. Yeah, one could argue, then, that there would be less cars, but It'd be nice for those of use who just one one Skyline. Or those of use who'd go to Chevy or Dodge and buy all the trims and colors for the Camaro or Challenger.

And I had forgotten about the "19" wheel option" for the McLaren and the other one for the WRX. This is making me think that a trim option menus might just be possible. I don't know how it would work with the older cars. Although, the '70 Challenger came in a lot of trims.

And the '70 Corvette Convertible we saw in the E3 Demo seemed to have some trim options on it, as well, like the black wheels.

No, it's not. It's a fake, a Photoshop. Almost a year old.
