GT5 Main Page Setup

I like GT5P's mode. Not only is it easier to navigate visually, but also easier to navigate with a steering wheel's d-pad.

I like the current main menu design in GT5 Prologue. I think it's nice having the clock, date and calendar on one page.

GT4's Map type is better if GT5 is going to be as big and deep as I hope it is.

GT5P's screen menu is better for small games.

GT5 is going to be a pretty big game, so I hope the main menu is more involved. I like the My Page idea, but the tiny XMB style navigation isn't quite what I'd expect on an epic game. I also think My Page should be about as customizable as a My Space page. I think the map motif from GT4 is very slick, but I'm expecting something very impressive from the 5.

Maybe keep the my page Idea, but when you want to by a car it goes to enougher "MAP" style page with the car companeys from different countries.

I kind of like this scroll one in GT5P.
But like Ghost_drift said , a map showing the countries with their related car companies is cool like in GT4.

I'd like a poll myself, but I'd hope it has a few more options than GT4 or GT5P. If not, this thread is your poll. ;)

Put up a poll for this. As for me, the GT4 layout was prettey simple and easy to understand and show what and where stuff are. However, the GT5P layout is faster to use and better looking. Don't you love seeing your cars in a slideshow in the most beautiful places in the world?? I can't decide.

I can presume full 3D menu that noone of us here can even imagine what will looke like. Some bastard of GT4 World Map and GT5:P scroll menu, but in full 3D.

I do too, and I should have been thinking of the Track Select screen. Very psychedelic and tasteful, without overwhelming your senses or cluttering the screen. The PS3 has the power to do some very impressive things, so the only limit is the imagination pool at Polyphony.

I'm kinda changing my mind about this the more I think of it. Now what I want is a map, but not like GT4's map. This map would fit on the screen initially, but it would have "sections" that you could go to, where the game would proceed to zoom in (hopefully PD could accomplish this with no load times). Then, that area would be taking up the screen and you'd be able to do what you need to do.

To go a little further, but not necessary, it'd be cool if both car companies and tracks were in their respective regions.

A whole new kind of thing would probably be best. Like a scroll menu at the main screen, then when you go to a menu, THEN the map design. So basically, I think PD should make the best of both.
