Looks like most of GTPlanet hate Kazunori Yamauchi but it's not his fault for the 2010 release.

It's Sony that you should point the finger to. KY said in a Gamespot interview that "creating games on the PS3 is so much more difficult than we imagined". http://www.gamespot.com/ps3/driving/granturismo52/news.html?sid=6188697 That's also why the PS3 is lagging behind Xbox 360 and Wii, it's too confusing to make games. Another developer, Valve also said the same: "PS3 'Too Complicated' To Develop For" http://au.ps3.ign.com/articles/993/993592p1.html

Please don't give negative comments about KY. He said he was confident that he will “set the new industry standard” (http://www.vg247.com/2009/07/07/yamauchi-gt5-will-set-new-industry-standard-for-racing/comment-page-1/) Have faith in him, I'm sure he will deliver.:)

Oh c'mon.....
So what if it's 2010 release?
You're going to kill yourself because it's delayed?
There are dozens of new games coming this Fall/Winter.

And programming for PS3 is not too complicated, that's just excuse for poor effort.

Couldn't you have just posted this in the TGS discussion? It really does not warrant its own thread.

It's got nothing to do with Sony. PD have been programming on the ps3 for five years. They are aware of the level of difficulty. At no point have PD stated that the lack of a 2009 release is due to programming difficulty.

No disrespect, but have you programmed anything for the PS3? If several well respected game developers are saying the same thing, I'd take it as read, as programming for the PS3 is hard :)

I really feel like saying SHUT THE **** UP to the OP but I'm not going to say it because I don't want to get in trouble.

Haha, yeah... but I also feel like saying that to you, because OP has already requested that this thread be deleted.
