^ Too hard to tell from this angle, there is not much angle to distinguish it. :indiff:

Active top I think, the yellow Detachable top had a black fabric roof.

You must not have looked hard enough, because clearly you missed the part where it said "This list is far from complete".

Stil...

You'd think that would be one of those companys they would know for sure in the beginning they would make models for.

Actually, no, we wouldn't. I don't even recall RUF showing up on the GT4 list for some time.

This is a new addition to the GT series from the first Japanese GT Awards program, awarded by Kazunori in January 2007. The English media and forums seem to have missed it. Source

Write-up:
HKS Mitsubishi Evolutution VIII CT230R Sponsor: Hipermax

I'm not sure of model year yet, let alone the Evo generation. All sources except the SONY info indicates the car is a Evo VIII, but the SONY pages indicate that it is a Evo VII. I'm am still trying to pin this info down. The nose looks more like the VIII, but it is all customised.

The 2005 GT Awards winner is also missing from this list. It is Stephen Papadakis's 2004 Honda S2000 seen here, along with a picture of Stephan.

Stephan is a professional drifter (no, he has a job) for Honda and tuner celeb, but there is not a lot of good info available, about him or this car, on the web.

Thanks, The359.

Why not mark the GT Award picks somehow or make a separate section for the SEMA cars and, now, the Tokyo cars?
Just include the year each car won and at which show.

Cheers,

MasterGT

Unfortunately as we saw in GT4, they seem to pick and choose where the winners go. The Buick in GT4 was listed under Buick, but the Golf was listed under HPA.

This means Papadakis could be listed under his name or Honda. We'll have to see what they do, honestly.

I just came over a screenshot from GT5:P that shows the Ferrari F430 as being the '06 model and not the '05 model

Also I think you should consider giving cars featured in GT:HD and GT5:P a different color. I don't think you can have cars from GT:HD classic in the same color as cars that have been modeled with PS3 specs.

For the sake of this list, it doesn't matter how they decide to do it in the game, just so long as they are here. Right?

Just make an GT Awards lists at least until the next version is released, then it won't matter how they do it or if a car doesn't even make it into the game for some reason.

Cheers,

MasterGT

I wish that they would choose a GT Award Winner from each category and put all four of them in (i think there's four categories) because I personally don't really like the "tuners" that much, I'd prefer a muscle car or truck as the winner, and if they chose one from each category then there could be four cool, unique cars rather than just one (not that I'm saying the S2000 is ugly or bad). I mean it seems kind of dumb choosing one from each category, and then choosing the winner from them...why not just choose the coolest one overall, you'd accomplish the same thing.

The Peugeot's ...
106 rallye
106 S16
106 Maxi

and citroen saxo cup/vts 16v, c2 vts ... are not included ? :indiff:

Not as of yet, we only have spotted a few cars, this is not he final list. When the list is completed we will know whether your 106's are in the game or not.

A new one in the new batch of images:

Alfa 147 3-door Ti ('06)

Not sure if it's the 1.6 petrol or 1.9 turbodiesel, though...

- Audi TT Coupe '07

- Ford Mustang GT '07

- Lotus Elise '96 (don't ask, but it is)

- Renault Clio Renault Sport V6 24V '00

The Alfa Romeo 147 TI is the 2.0 Twin Spark

The Alfa Romeo Brera is the 3.2 JTS Q4 '06

The Ferrari F430 is the '06

All seen on the half an hour vid demonstration by Kaz.

The fact that Kaz is photographed with the car isn't direct proof. Does the article actually say the car will be in the game?

Cars photographed for 3D modeling, not photographed with Kaz in front of them for an article.
