In Famine's article he points out that the 2010 WRX is a new addition to the game and that it had just gone on sale. The 2011 WRX is the one that is rolling out so was Famine wrong about the year?

Edit: nevermind, I think he got his cars mixed up. I'm assuming he meant the 2010 STI not WRX as that's shown in the new pictures, but again, that car is more than a year old.

If you look at the car selection demo video you can see it's the new sedan version ( which is 2011 ) as opposed to the hatchback one.

Oh and the white car in that screenshot looks to me like an Audi R8.:)

You're right, however the sedan has been available in japan for a year now. Famine saying the car just went on sale is what caused my confusion. Damn, bummer. I was hoping for the 2011 WRX.

Did I not tell him the page and the post number? With the amount of news and cars that were revealed the past 2 days, I'm sure he could reason that a new list was maybe, just maybe, a few pages back.

I'm just saying it was unnecessary to tell him "Please search next time", when it's 6 pages back. I would like seeing you being new around here, looking for an up to date premium cars only list, and you would be like: "Hmm, there should definitely be a new list within the last 10 pages of this thread"

Because they were in GT4 and GTPSP, there is a very good chance that they are in. But this image has clearly been edited, and so we don't know if the image is GT5. It certainly doesn't look like it, looks like a GT4 replay/photomode image.

So they won't be added to the list... Yet.
 
I'm curios if they'll have more old racing classics in the premium category. It would feel kind of odd if there's just three different types to fill the grid.

Well, the Alfa Romeo Giulia Tubolare Zagato 2 Competition Berlinetta '65* will likely appear in game seeing that it is 2009 winner of the Gran Turismo Award at Pebble Beach (same reason that one off Bertone Muira is in the game, it won 2008's award). Also the Washburn Chevrolet Corvette Z06 #614 (C2) '63, the J.W. Automotive Engineering GT40 Mk.I '69, and the Chaparral 2D '67 will likely make appearances as at least standard cars in GT5, since they were in GT PSP.

Maybe but then the question remains which of them will be premium and standard. And then there's the question if premiums and standards will appear in the same races but I believe they will.
