I'd like to establish a list of tracks that will for sure be present in the full GT5 game when it releases in March of next year. To make it useable I will follow the format of the track wish list that you can find here.
This list is NOT about variations (supposedly 70) but only about locations (supposedly only 20!!!).
Arguments used to be entered in this list are either confirmations by PD/ appearance in game footage, or strong assumptions based on GT4/GT5 PSP presence or high probability.
Remember the list can only be 20 long ...

England:
Top Gear Test Track (Dunsfold Park, Surrey)

France:
Le Mans/Circuit de la Sarthe
Monaco/Cote d'Azur

Gran Turismo (fantasy tracks):
Apricot Hill
Autumn Ring
Grand Valley
High Speed Ring
Midfield

Japan:
Fuji
Suzuka
Tokyo Route 246
Tsukuba
Twin Ring Motegi

Switzerland:
Ice Arena

United States:
Daytona
El Capitan
Grand Canyon
Indianapolis
Infineon
Laguna Seca

Probable but not sure, based on GT4/GT5 PSP presence:
Chamonix/Alps
Citi di Aria
Costa di Amalfi
Deep Forest
Eiger Nordwand
Grand Canyon
London
Paris Georges V/
Seattle
SS Route 5
Tahiti Maze
Trial Mountain
Valencia

Nothing is certain so please post your observations NOT YOUR WISHES :D
If you want to add a track to the list then please also suggest a track to remove from the list to keep it at 20 but with arguments please. Thanks 👍

I don't understand your distinction here. You put tracks like Ice Arena and El Capitan who're not confirmed (to my knowledge) in the top list and then put tracks like Eiger (certainty) and Trial Mountain (a GT signature track and almost a certainty) in the "Probably" list. So what's going on here?

Why are there so many track list threads for GT5 and not a single is a for certain one yet?

Where are you getting your info ?

The only tracks as good as confirmed:

1. Eiger
2. London
3. High Speed Ring
4. Fuji
5. Suzuka
6. Daytona
7. Nürburgring (GP + Nordschleife)
8. Tuscany
9. Indianapolis
10. Madrid
11. Top Gear
12. Le Mans
13. Tsukuba
14. Tokyo R246
15.
16.
17.
18.
19.
20.

6 open spots left if we only get 20 track venues.

GT4/TT:

Grand Valley
Midfield
Deep Forest
Trial Mountain
Autumn Ring
Apricot Hill
New York
Seoul
Hong Kong
Seattle
Paris
Amalfi
Aria
Monaco
Cathedral Rocks
Grand Canyon
Laguna Seca
Infineon
Motegi

GT5P weather info thingy:

Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps
Circuit Zolder
Shanghai International Circuit
Circuit de Nevers (Magny-Cours)
Autodromo Nazionale Monza
Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari (Imola)
Autódromo do Estoril
Circuito Permanente de Jerez
Brands Hatch
Silverstone Circuit

Ok so there are only 14 confirmed tracks? My point then why are there so many threads for it listing way over 20 tracks?

You gotta love geography.

And there is nothing that slightly suggest the inclusion of the Nurburgring GP track.

One of the trailers for the PSP game had this in it.
The pits & grandstands of the GP track. And obviously GT5 footage.

That stuff from the Nürburgring Pitlane could also just be a pre-race scene, like the tent from Eiger Nordwand in Prologue.
