GT5, Multiple Screen Support

Hi there,

This is my first post on this forum...

Since I've been eagerly anticipating the arrival of GT5 for some 3 years now, when I can finally get my grubby mits on the game I want to do it properly...

I've already purchased myself a visionracer vr3(www.visionracer.com) gaming seat, and a logitech G27.

Now I have the seat and wheels / pedal etc, I want to get the add-on 3 LCD panel mount, to run 3 screens.

My question(s) are:
1. Does GT5 support multiple screens?
2. Will I need 3 ps3's to run these multiple screens (if it's supported)
3. Will I then need 3 copies of the game too?
4. Anyone know of a list of other multi-screen compatible ps3 games?

We dont know if GT5 will have multiscreen support
yes you need 3 PS3s and 3 GT5 games, but wait till we get full answer.

Well i've got the rig up and running.
Visionracer VR3, Logitech G27 and I am the lucky 1st customer to have the multiple monitor mount on the visionracer set-up. Currently running F1 2010 on the PC using ATI Eyefinity.

3x copies of GT5 on pre-order, just need to keep my fingers crossed that it supports it on 3x PS3's...

Unfortunately, it seems you're out of luck there mate..
There don't seem to be any LAN/multiscreen options

I'm annoyed too... Really wanted system link. First FM3, now GT5. What's the problem devs?

I think that would be cool if you can, gt4 had it for arcade mode why not so far I have heard too that no 3 system link mode has been found I have a RennSport cockpit with tripples monitor mount

This would be the most viable option, I would say. We will have to wait until the online portion of the game has been unlocked to find out for sure.

Yep. Amar said that the whole network options area is blocked, so no one knows anything concrete about this until launch.

here you go:

The seat is a visionracer VR3 available from www.visionracer.com with the gearshift mount. I am also the only customer in the world at present who has the triple screen mount. Also running are 3x Asus 3D screens, so let's hope the multiple screen support (if it exists ) also suports 3D.

I will post some more high quality images once i've bought the other 2 playstations (provided 3 screens is supported)

Sony demonstrated GT5 in 2160p resolution, with 4 PS3s a couple of years back.

I think it's a strong possibility that support for this will be patched in later.
