. I've heard that you can import your favourite music tracks in GT5, but i like the GT5 songs too. What i want to ask is, If i mport some tracks, do i have to listen judt to my music, or will they be played together with the GT5 music tracks? (I hope it's clear enough)

well thank you.

i wanted to import some GT4 music, together with GT5 music.

but i have an idea: i'm going to download all the gt music tracks, then it should work.

I did the same. I downloaded all the GT4 menu songs and used them as GT5 menu songs.

I like GT4's music more than GT5.

How did you do this? I still have the GT5 song playing and it's been months the music is horrible. Can anybody show me the steps?

1. Get your song(s) of choice and put them on a USB drive, PSP, iPod.
2. Connect the USB, PSP, iPod to your PS3 and copy the songs to your PS3.
3. Create a new playlist and put the songs you want to play in GT5 in the new playlist.
4. Start GT5 and go to the music library icon in GT Life.
5. Go to the settings icon and select to use your personal music playlist.

I have songs in my ps3 already but I saved that from one of my CD and worked perfectly in gt5.

If memory sserves me right when I plugged in my USB it wouldn't let me save it but it did let me play it.

I didn't think about a CD :dunce:

I don't know why the PS3 wouldn't save your songs to the PS3. It never happened to me.

My biggest gripe is that, even if you disable all of the in-game music and import all of your own, the race day / settings screen will still play that 'baby i dont know' song. Which after hearing about 17 thousand times, is quite irritating.

So now I play with no music at all

You can deselect the 'incidental' music for the menus and just have the GT5 or your own music choice playing during races. There are two options in the music part of the menu. I think you have to turn the volume down to zero though for Menu BGM for it to fully work.

I thought the music only works in lobbies and not when racing. I'm doing b.spec to bump up my score, can I play a song while playing/racing?

Is that the one with the kids singing? I was looking for away to disable that as I'm using the License Test to advance the UCD a lot and the song is getting on my nerves.

That song with the kids singing gets disabled for me, but it does it at random times because my playlist plays randomly.
