In our world today, there are always people out there who make problems out of nothing. We all know who they may be and we all will come to meet them sometime in our lives. They are people who do not follow the rules, do not understand them, or plainly disregard them. There are people who have such low self confidence that they must cheat and lie to fulfill their silly existence. If you have been in the drag scene as long as I have, you will all know who these people are, and there are several different types which I will lay out for you all.
A) Type A is the scammer. The scammer prowls rooms to find unsuspecting people to race for pinks because they are confident that the unsuspecting opponent has no chance of beating them. If they win the pinks race, they will demand their car like its the end of the world. They will ruin someones name who probably had no idea what pinks meant in the first place. However, there is a catch. If the scammer does lose the pinks race, they will become the people they hate, the scammer. I have been scammed several times from pinks races, however I have always paid up if I have ever lost (which has not been often). Most recently I was challenged by a scammer (lets just call him "lildrake") and just guess what he did after his loss.
B) Type B. The s:censored: talker. (ST for short) The ST does not care about his own image and only looks out to destroy others'. The ST is most likely someone who thinks they are fast but cannot back up their own talk. They consistently talk behind peoples back to their equally as slow following and through their own talk begin to believe that what they say to be the truth when in fact, it is what it really is, just BS. This type of person is the most common. Recently I have acquired a ST and he cannot get off of my nuts, I dont even know him personally, he must have got my name from one of his followers or from a GT5 website. (for now lets call him "userblade") So this guy "userblade" who I have only hear of from being a major scammer and a ST in the past had a room open so I said what can happen, its just a drag room.. Well as soon as I join "userblade" and his STing followers (who cannot tune remember) all begin to call me out saying im slow, etc etc etc.. you know all the names haha I find all that talk to be hilarious because it means exactly 0 to anyone. I just ignored all of it and the people who were STing me never raced me.. funny... The room got horribly laggy and I was about to leave when "userblade" continued to ST and asked for pinks, so I said sure, but not in this room. I joined a new room with notable people such as L8RH8R and slash, sent him an FR (which he accepted) and told him to join so I could pinks him and told him to back up all his talk. You can guess what all that talk was for since he b:censored: out, created excuses and never joined the "visible lag" free room I was in. That's a good example of the STer right there.
C) Type C. The denier. The denier, is a player who refuses to come to the realization that GT5 online drag racing IS NOT EQUAL. It is plain physics, if you cannot understand that/ or deny that people will see the ghost faster than another person, you are either ignorant or a flat out liar. To be more clear, they believe that it is SOLELY based on reaction time after the tree goes ghost and there is no other factors such as internet traffic, location, home connection speeds, television refresh time etc.
D) The Cheapskate. The cheapskate is a person who makes up excuses about the Speed Test DLC. This person is either, too cheap to afford the DLC, too slow and afraid to post their times because they are just that; too slow, complain about the launch method despite the fact that since GT1 the 3/2/1 countdown has been in the Gran Turismo Series, or does not know how to launch properly using the Speed Test even though the same launch method has been used since GT1.
If anyone has any other examples of problematic GT5 racers, post thier character type and I will add them to the OP. Thanks.
