Hello all. Earlier this evening I was finishing up a game in my friend's Madden 10 online franchise and had this thought... "would it be a good idea if GT5 were to implement an online franchise or rather an "online race series?".
Since my thought is more based on Madden 10's online franchise, the online championship would consist of public or private "race series" which consists of qualifiers before a race day, point tracking throughout the season, season standings, team racing/team points, etc. And when you, the manager, create your race series, you can customize it by restricting make & model, perf points restrictions, tracks during the season, etc.
One example would be to create a series that mimics a season of Nascar, Le Mans, WTCC, WRC, FIA GT, etc. What do you guys think? Would this be something you'd like to see? Does this already exist in another console game? I think a lot of people would use an online race series feature; especially if you have a lot of friends to race with.
