i transfered some gt5 pics to my laptop, a compaq presario running windows xp and whenever i try to preview/open or even delete it'll eat up my computers cpu memory all the way up to 100 percent and slow down the laptop real bad to the point where i cant do anything. this is the 1st time ive tried to transfer over any gt5 pics. when it happens ill just hold down the power button to shut down the laptop and restart. anyone run into this problem or know how to fix it, thanks.

How fast is your computer?

How much RAM do you have?

GT5 has high resolution pictures but you computer should be able to handle it with ease.

It's freezing even with Windows Picture Viewer? Have you tried opening it with Photoshop/Gimp or something similar? You could even try opening it with your web browser.

thanks midian for the idea. i ran it thru photoshop and b4 it opened it said the file was damaged/corrupted but was still able to open them. i eventually trashed the files and re uploaded them from the game and now everything is cool now.

I find it my computer is very picky on what USB device it uses, a stick that I got from work refused to be read on my home PC, even though its fine for PS3 and my work laptop...

id like to state that b4 i trashed the files, i tried renaming them (not even changing the format of the file) and then they worked fine after that but me being paranoid ended up deleting them all together anyways (luckily the computer didnt freeze as i selected the files for deletion). thought i'd just throw that in for anyone who was curious.

Photoshop tells me all my images from GT5 are corrupt too, but open perfectly fine. I closely inspected them too and there was no color information lost or anything.
