GT5 Pre-Order in stores now

Hey Guys,

Went into JB HiFi today (electronics store for those outside AU/NZ) and they had Pre-order copies of GT5 on the shelf.

I went up to the counter and asked what the release date was and the guy told me that they had October 1st down as the tentative release.

but he also said that if not October 1st, then the 4th quarter of 2010.

Seems maybe retailers are starting to get word through about gearing up for a release.

In Canada we could pre-order the game several months ago. Doesn't really mean the game is coming any sooner though.

I already pre-ordered and bought GT5 at gamestop months ago. They themselves said dates may change since SONY never game them an official one.

I think its expected around then by everyone but it seems very unlikely as the 1st this year is a Friday this year and games in Australia 99% of the time come out on a Thursday.

Have you pre-ordered a copy of GT5 for March release this year? Oh, you didn't, so you said that we could pre-order. Don't believe the game shop and SONY, NEVER. It's the joke of the year already, I mean, about the release date, dude.

Yeah you should probley read these forums more, iv been able to pre-order for months from many different shops.

Yup, Thats the store I go to as well (They always hook me up early with games ) and I pre-ordered GT5 last year already when the release date was March.... but that was long ago already...
