I know this is probably a stupid question but does anyone know what is the latest prediction is on the release date on the full GT5 game... Is an Australian prediction also out of the question?

Any help would be great Thanx đź‘Ť

Based on this plan (the time scale has a non-linear perspective) and until further info is available, I'd guess some time before Christmas 2008, in Japan first, of course.

I wonder what the other 3 unlabeled marks are between GT5:P and GT5.
Best guess?

The first one might be the second Prologue release, for Europe and North America, about two months after the Japanese Prologue release.

Probably planned delays. PD are so good at knowing they're not going to release it in time, that they can predict a delay half a year ahead!

I dont recall hearing anything about a hidden vehicle in GT5:P. Im not sure what your aiming at.

Yeah but then who said there wont be? its a thoery. KY did mention added features via download.

Looking at the timeline, why would he talk about the unlockable cars in GT5P demo when the unmarked dashes are after the GT5P (full) release?

Those three unmarked ones may be additions to the prologue. Perhaps reveal that hidden car, or add features...

Bah, I am sorry about my choice of word causing all this lol. :dopey: ViperGTSR01 actually understood my meaning, but I understand that my wording was poor and can be misleading.

Perhaps I should say this:

Hi mikeyk and welcome to GT Planet. đź‘Ť

Be sure to have a good look around and enjoy the site.

Please be certain to familiarise yourself with our Acceptable Use Policy (that long list of things you're supposed to read before you agreed to your registration on the site, but probably didn't bother with! :dopey:) and there's link to it at the bottom of every single page on GT Planet, lest you forget or if you'd like to consult it. ;)
It is important, and it does mention the fact that "txt chat" slang isn't permitted here, such as "2day". đź‘Ž

It's been awhile since I've seen that diagram. Now this is a huge shot in the dark, but now that we know a little more info...does anyone think that those extra three dashes between GT5p and GT5 could be GT5p specs I, II, and III or something of that sort, with a slight chance of GT5 being released this year?

To be honest I highly doubt it, but just some speculation. Though I'm expecting, after KY saying that GT5 will be released "sooner than expected", that it'll be released in mid 2009. But who knows.

I heard from a guy 2day in a game store march 2009 for ireland anyhow hope so cant wait.

Hi and welcome, from me too. Dont let Smallhorse scare you away with lists of rules. The're all simple enough and once you stick to them this is a brilliant site. Theres plenty of Irish people like myself here too. đź‘Ť

I hope your right about that release, but I'd say it is an educated guess by whoever you were talking to. But yeah looking at that old timeline PD seem to be on track more or less, the 3 pegs in 2008 are almost certainly spec I, II and III. So it seems like GT should be ready for an early 2009 release in Japan at least, then hopefully not but possibly a late 2009 release for Europe and America, although I've never noticed PD really delaying a game just to take advantage of the Christmas season, maybe I'm wrong, but because of that its hard to predict when they'll release it. But I did think a 2010 date was likely before I heard "its closer than expected".

I think it would have been stupid to release the prologue any more than a year before the release of GT5. What was the time difference between GT4:P and GT4?

Yes same here, I would understam d if the release date was in 2010, it just measn they have been hard at incorporating more ideas and features into the game before release. Or they have had to negotitate alot with Manufactureers over damage...Ferrari.

I know the holiday season is a smart time to release a game, but I think regardless of when they release GT5, it'll probably sell the same amount of copies at release as it would around the holidays just because of it's popularity. Just my opinion, and always hoping for a sooner than later release...however the product must be finished!!
