Here's something more modern, in fact, it isn't even out yet!:) I hope it'll be in GT5!!!:nervous:

Holy mother of all stormtroopers, pure awesomeness!(said in high pitched voice):D

I love the sound and look of this car!! So much so, that I actually photoshoped it, to make that menacing look even more evident, with some exposed carbon fiber, blood-red color and new set of rims, and I sent it over to Zenvo people. And they actually responded, said they liked it and that they even had an almost exact version of it(like mine), while they were experimenting with design. Also, that it isn't out of the question, that somewhere down the line, such a version would be offered. Awesome!:D
Do I win any internet points now?:P
Here's my version: (fingers crossed for livery editor in GT5!💡)

(sorry about the size)

Don't worry about the size, you should be proud of it, looks really nice like a lightweight hardcore version ( Zenvo ST1 Superleggera or GTO, or something Danish which would be more appropriate ).
What i like most is the subtlety of detailing, respecting the basic design which indeed does look a bit like a stormtrooper.
Nice one, you certainly deserve internet points in my book ( although i might have chosen a different colour, i don't like red on a car generally but that's just personal preferce ).👍👍

Thank you for your kind words sir!:)
Maybe something like that ends up being a danish "superletvægts":sly:, although I don't think the car needs any more power: 7.0-liter, supercharged-and-turbocharged V8 operating at 1104HP, 1054 lb-ft of torque!!!:nervous::scared::drool: Enough to make you change your pants just by looking at it!;)
As for the color, it's intended to be mostly really dark, almost black in places, depending how the light falls on the body, and just there, where the light hits it the strongest, it supposed to glow in a rich bloody red color.:sly:
p.s. Thx for the internet points, I'll use them to bribe the ceiling-cat to spy on KY and I'll get back to you with new info!:dopey:

I haven't played FM3 more than twice (I don't own a 360), but holy hell, they nailed the ZR1's sound. PD should too.

Really, it's dead on.

The Ford GT with semi racing exhaust in GT4, with N tyres sounds sorta like that, not with S or R tyres though - some bug makes it some warbley :)
And set to mono... ortherwise the sound is considerably thinner

There is a bit of GT5 ZR1 driveby here - pretty rumbly

BTW I got GT5:P this week, real cheap, and the sounds are flat out terrible! Even worse than GT4 in some respects.
Some like the GT-R sound decent, and different from the rest. It's like maybe the sounds on a lot of cars were not completed in time, so they slapped some generic sounds that are really brittle and screechy!

It's close, but I wouldn't say that it's dead on.

Take the tuned Clio for a spin. 👍 The Amuse 350Z isn't bad either.

GTV6 + less restrictive exhaust + tunnel-like overpass= oh holy Jesus

I want a GTV6 so, so badly, and I plan on getting one once I have the garage space. A black one, with gold 5-spoke Compomotive wheels. You know how when you see certain cars, you make immediate assumptions about driver? Like how a Lexus RX makes you think, "there goes a middle-aged yuppie mother of 2 on her way to pilates class"? A black GTV6 goes by and the first thing that pops in my head is "there goes the world's greatest assassin."

They're also rad from a technical standpoint, since they have a de Dion transaxle and inboard rear brakes. Also, there were a handful of GTV6es that were twin turbocharged by Callaway. They also came with metric wheels, which means when it's time to get new tires, you have to spend roughly what the car is currently worth on a set of Michelin TRXes, which are the only ones that would fit.

Plus it looks tough as nails, thanks to Giugiaro.

For all the extraordinary exotic cars they've created only Alfa could make even their most basic car sound glorious, the 4 cylinder Boxer-engined Alfa Sud here in racing car guise is just music to me.
Loud, furious, slightly trashy but well composed music....

It was also styled by the maestro Giugiaro, although his interior on this car is largely disposed..

Loovleh sounds but does anyone play that fff game witout the training wheels\racing line.

I'm stuck with playing with a controller so I keep traction control and abs on, since it's hard to do things like modulate the brake and throttle and steer with any degree of precision when using triggers and a stick. I use the racing line until I've learned a track, and then I turn that thing off.

My favorite sounding car out of the ones I've driven in Forza 3 is the 131 Abarth.

Mine's painted in Martini livery, and it's a blast to drive, even with a controller. Driving it, as you can see in the video, consists of it getting sideways and you basically trying to keep it under some degree of control by maintaining the slide through one corner to the next. It would probably be even more fun with a wheel but, in what I assume is a ploy to shift more Microsoft wheels, Forza 3 doesn't have G25 support.

I love the sound made by the Alfa boxer engines. Alfa 4-pots have always sounded great. I posted this in here a while ago but it got buried by the Murcielago.

I love that how two radically different engines, using different layouts, that only share a cylinder count, both have that same rude, trashy fizzle up high in the rev range.

This is what Abarth could do with a little Fiat 850 Coupe, if the sound of some cars in GT5 came even close to the rawness of this i would be very happy.;)

GT4 - stock 22B, from outside and then various other views

GT5:P STI, inside and then a few other views

GT4 sounds like a Subaru, throbby, lumpy idle and low revs just like a stock Impreza
GT5:P, is it even a Subaru????? :ill:

I do like how in GT5:P there is a different tyre brake noise, instead of 1 tyre squeal sound

Now these are sounds we need

Wait for the tunnel action... OMG.

Gotta love the old M1 Straight Six

Prototype Acura V8's are truely some of the best

With Ferrari GT2 cars surely being included, they HAVE to get this sound right. One of the reasons it's my favorite GT is because of its seductive V8 note. (if you couldnt tell by now i have an obsession vith V8's. haha)

Hoping to god this is in. One of the reasons i include this video is to show all the agressiveness in a race engine; i.e. all the sputtering, backfire, bouncy revs, trans. whine, etc..

And hopefully the WRC sounds will be better. If the anti-lag system sound is replicate, then i'll have TONS of WRC replays on my youtube page. haha.

sorry for som many videos. There's just so many unique and beautiful sounds that i think need to be replicated. They've had five years so i don't se why not, eh?

The GT4 one, sounds like a Subaru Boxer, but I believe it doesnt has the Stock exhaust, is it? GT5P one does have the OEM Exhaust. Im not saying its Good nor realistic sound, but at least sounds like a Common 4 Cyl engine, which is how Boxer sounds when having normal Intake Chamber and Normal Headers, like equal length or something else.

Although, in GT5P some cars sound pretty good at low RPM's, as an example you should try the Jaguar XKR, it has a nice throaty V8 sound at Low revs, but after 4k sounds Terrible:yuck: Also the stock Z06 sounds pretty Decent, like a Stock V8.

About GT4, You should Try the Camaro Z-28 the old one, if I remeber its the '97 one, it has a Throaty Intake sound surprisingly, but sounds more like a Big V6 rather than a V8.

Oh and, Nice Comparison:tup:

The 22B doesn't have a twin scroll turbo like the newer STi so the 22B will sound Subaruy but the GT5P Subaru sounds less like a Subaru with stock exhausts.

The STI in GT5P doesn't really sound accurate, but there is a resemblance. We must keep in mind the JDM STI has a 2 liter displacement engine, while the USDM car has a 2.5 - they sound a bit different.

Exactly the usdm is 2.5 Jdm is 2.0 I can understand why people would think the GT5P STI sounds off because they are use to that deep boxer sound of the 2.5, but i think it sounds pretty close to the JDM STI. I dunno I also sometimes feel as GT5P lacks that little something, however its not that bad. With the surround sound, and the sub it sounds alot better.

The sounds in GT5P really shine in replay mode. The cars sound alot different from the mode i drive in which is interior mode. I reallly like that, I also have forza 3 which has good sound, however the replay mode is bad. When coming down the mountain pass in replay mode the sounds sound the same as they do in interior mode. In final, cant wait to play GT5 the sounds should sound alot better

I own a normal Impreza, and have heard many STI, both stock and tuned, 2.0l version here, same as the JDM version and it sounds more like GT4
Plenty with loud exhausts drive past my house as well :)
The sound it too sharp in GT5:P for most of the cars, way too brittle and screechy at the top end. Thankfully that has been fixed in the Time trial

Real Impreza WRX - tuned. GT4 version is much closer

Nothing like the symphony of race engines :)
First decent audio capture of GT5 cars in action

Just the race/track day atmosphere PD has created is impressive IMO, not many games can claim to do that on any platform

Noticed the puff of smoke at the end of the straight on the 2nd lap - brake lock I guess!
Just need some flames, and exhaust crackles and pops and it'll be complete :)
