GT5 Special Events Help

I am having trouble with special event; Grand Tour; Eiger Nordwand. I have tried a bazillion times with my best time of 1:17:409. I am looking for somebody within the continental US to gold it for me. I am willing to give anything in game and/or possibly a small sum of money. It is one of the last gold trophies I need for the PS3 trophy; all gold trophies in all events. If you're interested PM me and I will get back to you ASAP.

You have gold in the vettel challange but can't do grand tour?

Check out some videos on youtube. Perhaps there's one or two corners you are taking slower than you think.

There are videos on youtube that you can use as guides for the event.

Or you can just go at it repeatedly until you get it.

yes simon i am a trophy hunter. i had the luxury of borrowing a thrustmaster wheel for vettel challenges. other than that everything has been with DS3. i honestly didnt portray eiger with the 8c being a difficult challenge, but boy was i wrong. it has just been a very stressful event for me. although you are correct about it not being an achievement if i dont do it myself. i think i would definitely be ashamed that i outsourced the event

The last curve with 8C is very important. I did better when I opened throttle early and drifted a bit on the opening.

Thanks for the advice !!! Can anyone tell me the maximum speed in mph for long right turn before the tunnel and also the final corner before the finish. Those seem to be the most troublesome for me. Seems like I am either too slow or my ass end slides out slowing me down. Or I just smash the fence! LOL!

This ones pretty hard dude alotta ppl had a hard time with this. try and keep a real tight line thru the first sector thats where most the time is lost
