The most surprising thing is the audio. I remember when I used to play FM3 although I felt the sound was quite good, it does feel a bit heavy handed as if the sound engineer decided that engine sound should be mellow and nice. The V8 in GT5 seems to have a bit more bite and sounded more mechanical (and metallic).
 
That confirms my thoughts
Standards in motion on track are on par(and sometimes better looking)Than Some(not all)Forza cars.
Photomode Forza hands down ,also cockpit view and of course damage.

I always said STandards don't look good when compared to GT5's premiums but compared to other games they are not bad (especially in motion)
 
Something worth pointing out here is the fact that, during gameplay, vehicles in FM3 have blacked-out interiors and much lower polygon counts than they do in Photo Mode.
 
And also only 8 cars on track. On top of that all, those aren't the same models for trucks, the color is different as well. If we want the best comparison it should be the same model of car and color on the same track.
