GT5 & Top Gear

Since the Top Gear test track will be on GT5 and how GT.TV will be showing episodes of the show. I wonder if the BBC might introduce GT5 on one of there future shows of Top Gear.

Clarkson in the past has used Gran Turismo to tackle Leguna Seca to compare his lap times against that of his real life and on screen times.

I think there could be an apportunity to at least plug GT5.

But what would be nice is if the STIG got involved and chalked up a few laps on GT5 in a chosen car and opened it up for the likes of us to compete and have our own Virtual Lap Leaderboard.

You never know.

Maybe there's an S License test at Dunsfold, with gold time set by the Stig?

There's an interview with Kazunori Yamauchi in Top Gear Magazine this month, so it's already got a (3-page) mention.

Clarkson has also played GT2 as well as 4 to compare the Elise, Chimera and an MG, on his own show 'Clarkson's car years' and I think he talked about GT3 in one of his articles in The Sunday Times when reviewing the Viper (Not sure if it was GT3 but he did mention gran turismo). Having GT5 on one of the episodes of Top Gear would be a great idea. Jeremy setting a time on the virtual track then setting a time on the real one. 👍

the thing i wonder the most about is when they'll introduce the topgear test track via a patch on GT5P! The sooner, the better!

NSX - Laguna Seca, could he get a 1.41 in real life as in game?!

Of course he didnt, but he went on to blame it on fear and his lack of race driver qualities, he did well though, 1.57

They could make the interview beforehand with a translator and then show it. Not too hard. Though Kaz will probably be driving hard.

I can't wait to compete against the Stig's times. Most of those cars should be in the game. Now we will have the track....
