GT5P Online Ranking - Global or not?

Hi guys!

I play with a local version (~Hong Kong/Singapore) of GT5P. I wonder if the time attack rankings I see on screen are the same as everyone else in the world? Cuz I clearly see laps posted by ppl all over the world: Japan, USA, Canada, UK...you name it.

From what I know, I'm pretty sure my local version connects to a local server - i.e. I won't be able to play with you guys if you're using US/JP/EU version of the game. But does this apply to time attack rankings too?

Yes, rankings are all global

Rankings are indeed global, it's when you race online that you are connected to regional servers unless that online event is stated as a World event.
