Have anybody else had this issue , been happening since 1st time I put the disc in ...

I put the disc in make some noises then spits it out , pop it back in it may load up and be all good but it may spit the disc out again ...It always works never have I not been able to play but its really peed me off now since it happens every time. No other disc does this Grand theft auto 5 don't do this or the last of us ,or disney infinity ... I use them examples as I bought them within the same month time period wise, but tested all 35 of my games and all boots up first time.

Please don't reply with the disc may be dirty or scratched as this has happened since the wrapper came off.. I know how to look after disc media

Thanks for taking your time to read this

Ps3 slim 250

Check the disc under a light for hairline cracks/or fractures. Some discs crack near the centre ring (in transit to the store or from pressure exerted when its placed into the case (at disc pressing plant)
Ive had Ace Combat do that to me. It worked some days, not others.
When I examined it closely.. I noticed a tiny crack near the centre ring!
Its a defective disc, return it and swop it out for a new one.
P.S, it worked flawlessly for a week before the crack appeared.

Alternatively, Ive had a Halo3 copy do similar with my 360 at launch. I returned it to the store. It was a bad batch that had data corruption (not copied correctly at the plant from master copy), it would spit the disc out, take too long to read the disc or say its unable to read the disc.

Thanks match just checked , that didn't come to my mind , no cracks but I can see light through the disc looks like a single pixel in the 1st data ring missing but unsure if that cause it...

Didn't think I could get a picture but managed it , faulty disc? Can anyone check theirs for me

As far as my knowledge goes, that dot inside the ring is of no value.
Not sure what else could cause the problem.

Small but funny fact (I learned long long time ago when CD's just came to life)
When you make the diameter of the CD approx. 800 meter, the readable data (blocks) are as big as a rise grain.

Do you have gold layered disc with wavy pattern ? Mine has it ( Limited Edition 15th Anniversary ), and it's perfect, and it's not transparent - similar to my first release MGS4 double layer disc ( also gold layered ), I would say faulty disc, better return it at the store where you bought it from and ask for replacement.

Yeah gold and wavy pattern first press.

Hard to see, but check if theres any distortion on the data layers.
But, return it and swop it for a new disc ASAP. Dont want them saying you did anything to the disc. Let us know how it goes. :)

No distortion but a wavy pattern .. I will return it this week I think ...

Thanks to everyone that's posted
