Is there any chance someone could put up a link to download the 1080p60 uncompressed file at an alternate source? The whole “you need Chrome to download this” just rubs me the wrong way…

It refuses to work on Safari for me. I could easily download Chrome for the time I need to download it, but out of spite I’d rather not.

Worked perfectly in Firefox for me.
Downloaded ok for me with Firefox, but took forever with my slooooow speed. :(
Playback with Windows Media was less than exceptional though....might try something different.

Edit:
Having viewed the replay several times now (first 10+ seconds anyways) and trying to look closely at the tracks. :dunce:
Up for identification/confirmation.....
Approximately the 6 second mark,
2 tracks top right hand side, 2 tracks around the centre (one I thought was Tokyo R246, but I now see that higher up)..
And lower left, next to R11, is that possibly Apricot Hill??

Try VLC player

MEGA is a 🤬 filehoster, I don't understand why that many people use it.

Because it gives you 50GB free space and has very fast downloads. Except large downloads needing a plugin on browsers other than Chrome its great, better than the multitude of hosts with 50kbs download speed and hourly restrictions.

You could probably use Realplayer, Comes in handy if you need to download videos :)

Realplayer still exists? I thought that died out years ago.

Use this mirror, it worked for me. I found it here when I googled for a 1080p 60FPS version about a week ago. The source includes a 720p 60FPS version for slower PCs. Also interesting how Jordan uses the same Mega link as this source without giving any credit.

For a relaxed viewing I recommend to download it on your PS3 or export it to your PS3 from PC via an USB stick. I downloaded it directly on PS3 from the mirror above, took about 10 minutes (I get an average 2MB/s on w-lan). It looks stunning on a Full HD TV in real 60FPS.

Out of curiosity I went and watched all the trailers for GT5 on YT.

They all looked far better than the final release.
Moral being is don't read too much into it.
Especially trailer 3 with fake sounds. Come on PD have some morals please. I don't expect them to show "warts an all" approach, but final representation would be nice.

Ps I do realise its not exclusive to PD, many others do it to. Aliens Colon Marines, anyone?

Did the thread starter lose interest or found another link himself? I don't want to beg for a thanks but a reply if it worked out or not would be nice.

Tried that mirror but it would only download at 8 kb/s for some reason, in spite of me turning off all other current downloading I had going on.

I recommend to try it again tomorrow. The FAQ (which appearently doesn't offer direct links) says download speed may be restricted to 64kbit/s for 24 hours but is pretty unclear about reasons and has the use your own cloud to save it at unlimited speed crap all over it. When I downloaded it the speed was fine on my PS3, so I guess when a file reaches a certain hit/traffic limit it gets limited for 24 hours.

If someone could mirror it on Dropbox, that'd be greeeeat. Unfortunately I don't have a proper PC at the moment so uploading stuff (surfing the web in general) is a pain.
