gt6 fails to start

I bought the anniversary edition today, but after inserting the disc into ps3 it doesnt see the disc and i dont get a gt6 option to start the game... when i remove disc en put gt5 in ps3 it works just fine.

does anyone else has or had this problem??

Similar. My drive seemed to be choking on it for a bit, before it had a little cough, after which it digested the disc just fine. Took a minute or so.

Then forget it.

Disc is clean? No scratch? PS3 doesn't have problems with any other PS3 game?
In that case you got a faulty disc, happens sometimes.

yes clean disc no scratches and no problems with other games...

think its a faulty disc indeed... bummer

hmm thats weird, i did a format on hdd and now its working.

Oh, let's hope it's not conflicting with the GT5 gamedata then! That would be lame if they force people to uninstall the previous game. Or maybe you didn't have a lot of free space ? I don't know if it would affect reading the Blu-Ray though, and I am guessing not.

It must be gt5 gamedata to be honest i dont have any other games, its the only thing i use my ps3 for... racing.
there was no other data on hdd other then 2 tiesto cd's and gt5 game data ill try to put the cd's back 1 by 1 and then the gt5 data to see what happens. Its installing 1207mb of gt6 gamedata at the moment so maybe with that installed adding the other data hopefully creates no problems.
