GT6: Level Grinding, License Tests, or ...

Seems that many were dissatisfied with the level grinding aspect of GT5 in lieu of license tests that matter from previous games in the series. Wondering if we will see a return to meaningful license tests or perhaps something else entirely.

I wish they'd remove both altogether. I just started a new playthough and the only license I've even bothered to get so far is the National B, I've just been power-leveling and making tons of money with seasonals.

License Tests were OK once or twice, but at this point in the series I've been through the whole succession of tests probably 15 or 20 times and it's just tedious, annoying, and if you settle for bronzes to get through them quickly you spend more time loading than driving. I think they should make them some kind of optional tutorial mode or a challenge thing you can do for money and prizes, but not something you have to suffer through to play the game. I just want to get in a car and race, not spend all evening trying to shave hundredths of a second off of a single corner.

You're right about that. I did however, grind the license tests to get that GT ACADEMY GT-R recently, to go along with the GTA '12 model. GT MODE is more interesting to me with the Dream Car, Tuner Car, Polyphony Digital Cup races. Other than that, I do seasonals for he Cr. GT MODE need to have more time change races and more Touring Car, GT, LMP, Multi-Class racing to keep me interested. I'll probably use the create my own Championship if its available offline.
