Hi guys, finally got this game couldn't wait 2 years ago when it came out but some circumstances meant i had to play it today for the first time ,crazy.

I started the game and version 1.22 was the latest when the updates came up, it said i needed a little bit more space on my Ps3 to start updating , i have 20 GB free space...

So how GB are all the updates together?

Just add all of the sizes in this thread: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/gt6-update-list-1-21.321054/ From memory it's just a bit above 20GB, so you may need to start deleting stuff.

Hope you enjoy the game! With all the main features added, I hope it'll be a nice experience for you :)
Like @LeGeNd-1 very kindly said above, it'll probably only be a bit over 20GB; my game data totals a lil under 19GB , but I am a few updates behind since formatting my drive

Prepare for an ordeal. I recently installed the game on a new PS3 I'd gotten. The update install process is borked. YOu can't just let it run - it'll crap out and not work properly. You have to follow a long process of downloading the updates one at a time and installing them individually (which pretty much requires you to be there watching the downloads as you'll need to interrupt them to do the individual file installations. Took me 2 days to get it done...

I recently deleted my Game Data because loading races kept freezing. You do have to monitor, but there is no need to install them individually. Probably every 6-7 updates you need to cancel and let the game unpack the downloaded updates. This is a limitation of the PS3's RAM I believe, so PD isn't directly at fault here. With PS4 if they still use the same update system it shouldn't be a big problem.

Having said that, it's still a hellish process (took me 14 hours in total) so I don't recommend it unless it's a last resort.

Thanks it was very helpful all installed in order as the tutorials in the site say.

Thanks i enjoyed this a lot more than GT5, reminded me of GT4 layout, like GT4 for PS3,it was about 21 GB all of updates.

As i saw it in the forum it was a chore installing them one by one, it took about 10 hours without any problem all went well, also no freezing problems in the game as most are reporting just big load times times between races but i guess that's normal ?

And something else i noticed was when in landscape rich places the background loading late every single time, guess that is normal too? Also in closed tight tracks especially Goodwood the car moves normally but the environment around the track seems to be moving in a very fast slideshow not fluidly but i think it is just my crap TV, so if no one else had this it's probably just my crap TV.
