GT6 with clutch?

Pretty hard to pay attention to the track if you are watching the clutch pedal

Having a functional clutch is fine focusing on the animation is not really important from my pov

No.i was talking about the replay view of the driver of him pushing the pedal. Not lively view when you driving.

This. I play on manual transmission all the time. I feel a bit cheaty being able to shift without clutching, while people with wheels do have the option of using their clutch.

I don't know how you manage, my brain can't coordinate that many finger actions on the controller at once

I have wheel and clutch pedal, but GT5's clutch is made so terrible I rather not use it - it simply doesn't work like real one.

Exactly.. I often can't properly gear up with the clutch in GT5. Mainly from 1st gear to 2nd... it's impossible to do it fast since a driver dun't do so anyway.

I mapped L2 and R2 for brakes and gas, respectively. I use the left stick to steer, and the right stick to shift. For the handbrake, I just use O.

I heard that the clutch is really bad because you can't have a slight amount of gas on while clutching, otherwise you go into neutral. I think someone said PD did this to prevent wheel users from having an advantage over controller users.

I can't remember 100% sure since not being using clutch pedal in GT5 for ages, but that wasn't the case.

You are able to rev while using clutch, but game's clutch has very long delay: You apply clutch, switch next gear in and make sure it really switches it on and then you can release clutch. "Timing error" and game doesn't change gear but makes it jump into neutral which is very very annoying.

You cannot drive GT5 cars like real cars with such clutch.
