Hello dears i hope you are doing well,

I have suggestions for GT7 that i think if they made them the game will be much improved and much fun to play.

As we know now that we do the same routine everytime in the game multiplayer/sports, we dont play cafe because most of us already completed all the tasks there and its not challenging because the rewards are too low and its offline racing. My first suggestion is to increase the rewards in the multiplayer races as the average reward is 10k credits and that does nothing in the game. My second suggestion is to add drag racing category in the multiplayer mode 1vs1 which both players choose the win credit like 50k/100k/500k/1m/5m etc.. and a pink slip which the winner gets the opponent's car and that would be a big change and improvement to the game.

Write down what do you think of my suggestions 😃

Thanks and regards

Not gonna happen

A voucher for grand slam would be great.

I.E. voucher for pole position, clean race, fastest lap, zero penalties and maintaining lead throughout the race.

In sport mode of course. Would be way to easy to achieve in world circuits.

Multiplayer drag racing is a nice idea to be fair.

Earlier instalments of the game became too easy when you could win tonnes of credits in one race. Thereby making the game less enjoyable.... Racing for 'pink slips'... Nah. Nothing stopping loser disconnecting before transaction is complete.

I think they got the balance just about right with winnings. If one is that desperate for credits, it's possible to grind 10M a day.

Yes some cars are very pricey... But you don't have to rush to get them all. They do cycle round fairly regularly.

I'd be much happier getting rewarded for doing something spectacular - like a grand slam, as mentioned in my post above.

Improve the camera views. They range from OK to horrible right now. The chase cam is just horrendous, it was so much better in GT Sport, they tied every camera view to the orientation of the car which looks atrocious when you hit a bump or a jump in rally for example.

Holy ancient posts Batman!

Ok first this ^.

I got in this GT late. As such I still have coffee to drink at the Cafe. Namely I do not go in for the turn down the difficulty and throw whatever the chat of the day is at it. Having spent large chunks of my "childhood" busting butt on GT4, to the point of caring my memory card with me in my backpack to keep it safe, I actually enjoy the "offline" things in game. Unfortunately anything that involves your collection of cars requires you to be hooked to the internet. 🤬 That needs to change!

I am all for a increase in the payout for multi player and Sport races. Dealing with some of the "children" in the online races is more frustrating than the AI. You know the human had a thought about what was thier next action.

Drag racing. So we have be finding ways to do drag race from the first time online racing became a thing. (GT5) Then we would line up on the back stretch of Indy Road courses infield and run side by side with a simple 3-2-1-go or a car down track flashing their lights. There was a send car option but it was a trust thing and you could only send one car and one paint chip per day. However, you never really lost that car as you could just not save and restart the game. If you remembered to back it up on USB before you went racing that day. The aspect of "beting" on a race was handled in a similar manner. The standard was sending a F40 in silver or gold chrome. There by getting the credits from selling the F40 and having the paint chip. In that game there was no just go buy the paint like now so having a chrome chip was lucky. And most of us had two accounts that we would send items back and forth to, thus basically printing our own money. Now you know why we have all the rules and lack of sending things to other players. Now, back to the actual racing aspect. I do not believe that good drag racing could be done in the GT world as the resources to have all the brackets would tax the server quite a bit. However, PD could create a very good game solely for Drag racing using the existing software and code as a base. The ability to place bits or do pinkslips may not happen given gambling is not acceptable in the Sony policy. A payout for winning the race would be more likely.

Now this.
In real life if you are in a contract with a company to run thier vehicles in races, the company will normally give the team kick backs in the form of products. So, depending on how you do in the races a bonus engine, part or, car for using that manufacturers car would be good to see. As a example, use a GT-R in GR.4 and Gr.3, at the end of season you would receive a GT-R to put put in a car of your choice at the end of the season.
As it is set now the better you do in the races the better chance you have of being invited to run against professional drivers at the world finals. There are some of us on this forum that have had the experience. And some that have gone on to get real sponsors and do real racing on a world scale from the ability to drive in Gran Turismo. In short, there is a real life rewards system for being good in game.

Yes I know, hence the upcoming movie...

Yes would be nice to get a little something for signing a contract, seeing the season through and doing well. That might change my mind about sticking with the manufacturer I always sign with - I decided, the first time the option came available to me, that I'd sign with the same manufacturer every time, no matter what. And so far I have done so. I've even bought the cars they lend me, and only use those in daily races (if available to use) No real reason... Just a limit I placed on myself.

But I was talking more about Daily races - maybe I should have been a little more clear on that. Sorry.

And I didn't mean either FL, Clean race, or PP etc, I meant if one manages to do all those things in one single race.

Yes 50% bonus for clean race is available and very much appreciated, I'm just saying a few extra bonuses would be cool too.

Just as examples

5% for pole,
10% for FL
If you manage all 3 with no penalties, and without dropping position at all, a nice little 3 star voucher.

How often has the racer behind you got FL thanks to you giving clean air, but didn't quite manage to catch you....

How many times has a single pixel caused your only .5 second penalty, but you're so far ahead it's inconsequential.

Getting that nice little 3 star voucher not quite as easy as it sounds - to me anyway....

Genuinely don't care if devs decide to implement anything like this, it was just a thought.

I'm late to GT7 too. blasted through licences, missions Caffe. still working on extra menus, barely looked at world circuits.

I like how unpredictable the decent online racers can be. Running rings round the AI can get boring... but as you mentioned the "children" are frustrating at times. A couple extra incentives might cerb that. Especially when you don't know for sure what you're missing out on if you race like a lunatic...

I personally would decline an invite to the world finals. I actually have a real life that doesn't revolve around gaming. It's just a hobby for me.

I would not fight a bonus for a grand slam. I would love to see the people that get the ramming penalty actually get a in game credit fine at the end of the race. If they lost money for being foolish they would actually try or leave.

I too stick with my Vipers and use them in my Daily Races and anything else I can run them in. I never knew I could buy the contract cars. I had got all the Vipers before I entered any Sport races.

I to would likely have to turn down a trip to the World Finals. For me it's a simple health matter. I would not be able to jump into a racecar so, why stand in the way of a person that could take that opportunity. I got my bit of experience in meeting a professional driver in Boris Said at his dealership. I most said he was a very nice down to earth gentleman.

The penalty system is a tricky one. I've had tonnes of collision penalties. I'd never ram intentionally, but accidents do happen. Especially when auto drive assists kicks in for the car in front, causing them to break harder than is necessary when feathering the throttle would have been enough. When I do, and the car I rammed ends off track, I stop and apologize and wait for driver to pull away and get back on course. If I ruined someone's race, it's only fair mine gets ruined too.

General collision - where I get a penalty - I'll apologize at on the fly or at the end of the race. I know some do police themselves in a similar manner, but can't rely on everyone to do so.

However... I am about to contradict myself here..... I am guilty of allowing the red mist to descend when I feel I was rammed intentionally. Then I'll target the French shower bag and treat him/her a lot worse than the way I was treated... Deplorable I know... Sorry (not sorry)

I do give a little indication of my annoyance before I target someone though. Simple apology before I catch up and I'll calm down straight away. But I might have a few choice words to say post race.

I feel I can tell the difference between accident and intention in most cases anyway. Doesn't seem the penalty system can make that distinction. Would be a lot to ask for it to do so.

Having said all that, getting fined credits would be a deterrent for sure. Got there eventually lol

Now, as for invites to world finals. I wouldn't want to stand in the way of someone more able either. There's a reason I don't have a real world driver's license. Health condition + plus sudden flare up... Disastrous.

I would like to think someone so talented, but unable to take up the invite would get a little acknowledgement in the real world. Certificate or cool little shiny medal or something... Doubtful, but one can dream.
