GT7 online issues

Hi there, recently purchased a ps5 and gt7. Have issues with online, sport mode is fine however going into online lobbies are always very laggy and jittery. I’m running 50mbps with a wired connection and can’t seem to find a solution, any suggestions would be appreciated!

There is no solution, it's the way the game is. lobbies are crap and it has everything to do with the way the p2p networks are setup for lobbies.

i have a wired connection 1000/1000mbps (so download and upload) and i play with friends who have similar internet connections 10km away, our lobbies are and always will be crap.

Additionally, lobbies are a crapshoot. They're not regionally locked like Sport Mode events, and use a P2P setup which is only as strong as its weakest link. If you're racing with someone who's 12,500 miles away from you and their home internet is wirelessly connected through two concrete walls and on the opposite side of a potato router from a microwave, you all are going to have a Bad Time.
