GT7 Original tracks real life locations

I've always wandered if the original tracks in gt were actually placed in a real location, if they are placed in a realistic location or if they were just placed on the map randomly, so i decided to check out, a very different result came out for every track.

I completely agree about Trial Mountain being in the Lake Tahoe region because it doesn't contain any of the obvious landmarks of Yosemite like Half Dome. In fact, the Fandom Gran Turismo site says that GT7 places Trial Mountain in Nevada rather than California.

I'd say it is probably intended to be in the area near Donner Pass (on the California/Nevada border), just north and out of sight of the lake. If you look on the far right of the below screenshot of Trial Mountain, the shape of the mountains in the distance looks quite a bit like the mountains behind Lake Tahoe in the below photo (which was taken from Donner Pass). As far as a specific location goes, I'd say it's located on a mountain somewhere near Truckee/Carpenter Valley.

The rest of the locations in the OP seem to be pretty accurate.

However, if Blue Moon Bay = Half Moon Bay, they should add some better fog settings to the dynamic weather for the sake of realism.
