So it is Thursday,6:32 am Arizona USA time and I'm getting a world map with "off line" at the top of the page.
Reconnect does nothing except spin the logo. I've got nine other games including GT sport that are getting thru
this mess. Anyone in the US having similar issues?

yep the same issue the logo just spins,i'm in california.
 
I'm still pissed that I paid $60 and downloaded 60 gb just to not be able to play the game when an update ****s the servers.

Yea but I don't see why servers everywhere are down if Japanese ones are. If there's any reason other than the update screwing with servers pls tell me.

Believe the servers in JP feed the other world servers, and possible it was interrupted the data packets at that time?

That was before the maintenance period even started. So even if it had affected PD (which Kaz tweeted it didn't) do you really think they'd have gone through with the maintenance? I don't.

Ok, that makes a little more sense now. Maybe they're trying to make the servers more independent to prevent this from happening again?

Everything is off apart from world circuits and that’s only a crappy race ,This is So embarrassing for a New Title ,Do they Not test these updates first ,Ffs sort it out Sony and PD,This is a joke !!!!
 
This is really sad i expected to wake up and everything would be fine now i can see this is really serious who
knows how long it will take to fix this problem.
 
I just experienced something strange: I booted the game just to see if perhaps it was back up, and instead of the connection error message, I got the automatic update download... again. Then the installation message and progress bar, just like yesterday. It installed and... connection error message again.

... are they messing with me? ;)

14:35 British time - I have just updated (version 1.08) and installed said updates. But guess what? Nothing. Servers still down. WTF is going on Polyphony?
