GT7 Tuning Calculator - Download v3.3 all new cars added!!

New versions uploaded,

Lite version now has extra options for corner exit and entry.

Amended Suzuki VGT Gr.3 to FR

Also try out the fairlady Z GTR swap tune on the expert version I did, it’s a Gr.3 build that kicks ass! Great car…

Nice drive. Thanks for sharing and for the updates. Any chance of adding the downforce calc to the Lite version? :D
Sorry bud. Macro enabled, might be able to find a different way of doing it, I’ll check it out.

Ok thanks Hooked. Is the w/book unlocked so that I could add this?
Hi Steve,

The workbook is protected, why would you want to add default values anyway? The moment you add a tuning part or different tyres all of the parameters change from default…

New update has been released. With the changes I mentioned previously.

Seems to be some issues with people not receiving the new download links. Let me know if you have received your new download link or not please.
Hey man,
I’ve be reading the thread comments and I was wondering if the calculator could give any help with these Daily Races tunings? As they’re allowing tuning the suspension.

Cheers!

It can yes. You will have to tweak the inputs to get the spring rates. I input any number for downforce to get the same spring frequency then you can see the correct damping…

Just realised that tyre selection does not interact with camber! I will make some adjustments to the sheet soon.

Chasing for updates on the app from the developer. Hopefully not too far away now.

Good work mate. Any rough eta?

Hello brother love the spreadsheet app would be wonderful but I do not mind amazing work. I recently purchased and looking into doing drag builds off of your app, just wondering the best way to go about that and advice. Thank you

Hello mate,

Drag builds? Roll race or 1/4 mile?

Either way you’re going to need to get the gearing bang on!

Yeah me and my buddies do dig drag races 1/4mile maybe even half mile sometimes. I use the lite version but would it be better to use final calc input or user input? Also on the lite I can’t do the dump graph thing right? With the torque line

So firstly, lite version is okay for gearing but you will get more accuracy with the full expert version.

The final calc input is okay to use, only need to change to the user input if 1st gear isn’t in range basically…

Awesome that was happening a couple times I could not reach the first gear value it would provide all others were ok so I will try user input thank you. I will probbly upgrade to expert soon if It doesn’t work out on lite

Gutted! Got myself a new wheel yesterday and the PS5 HDMI port decided to give up on me!

You should be able to send it to Sony for repairs, after warranty has expired it's a fixed fee.

I'm not sure if that's still the case.

Just used 'Expert' calc for first time since downforce cell/suggest rear downforce cell has been commissioned and implemented by you...

Finally I have fairly close to stock M4 on sports tyres with no perm or hp upgrades, that I love driving! Doesn't just grip and understeer, has perfect amount of 'give', controllable/recoverable oversteer. Feels 'alive' rather than just glued to road and safe/boring. Absolute pleasure to do a few random laps of the Norschleiffe. Can go heavy on accelerator to throw the back out, confident I won't spin out. Properly buzzing and genuine fun to drive, rather than simply 'quick'/'efficient'.

Thats leaving all the preferences in calc to '0'.

Looking forward to deploying more tunes on other cars now!

Thanks a lot mate  😺

Managed to get it sorted locally, back up and running now! How you finding the latest update? Any feedback from anyone else? I see @B80 like it! 👍

(Not original commenter) Because, personally, I'm most often tuning race cars where BOP is on but car settings are enabled — meaning, weight, weight balance, power, torque, and gearing are set and fixed for that car. So those few would always be useful to auto-populate. But having the other values that I can change still populate with the default ones that are on-screen would still be preferable. gt-engine.com keeps an up-to-date spreadsheet with all the Gr cars' BOP values in every category.
