Can anybody give their opinions on GTA London edition? Apparently it is set in the 60's/70's. I have a chance to get a collectors pack consisting of GTA + GTA London + GTA2 for a good price.

Would it be worth it?

They're a good old classic game so if you can get them cheap it'd be good 👍

But you do realise they aren't in 3rd person (if thats the correct term) angle as GTA3 and Vice City are right? They're more or less a birds eye view game.

Do you mean that it from a "Quake" perspective, or do you see the character's back and back of the head sort of thing?

Mike...

Everything GTA before GTA3 is set in a chopper perspective. You see everything from up above. Zooming in when you're close to a standstill and zooming out if you're driving. And yes - Scrolling is a huge part of it .. The cities are HUGE !.....

Ohh - Should I add - I spend hours and hours in GTA 1 and 2 - and enjoyed it :D So I'd say, go for it !...

Thanks for the info 👍

My only concern is the view - James Bond Tomorrow Never Dies sucked largely in part due to the view.

GTA 1 and 2 certainly didn't suck back in the days.. But again - It's been a while since they came out, so I suggest you give 'em a try. Especially if you can get them cheap(ish)..

Roger that.

Well I can get the three games for the same price as GTA in the singular, so that is pretty cheap.

EDIT: one more thing - the handling of the cars? Realistic?

Wouldn't worry too much about that :mischievous:

But to answer the question - NO !...

As it says on the box-
-A unique zooming top-down view
-Outragous Hollywood style car handling
-Over 6000km's of freeways, backstreets, roads, alleyways and dead ends.

Thats what the GTA disk case says, though GTA2 is the best!

Hmmm. I would prefer Knock out Kings, but that is rarer then hens teeth, so I will sit on it for a week or so, then decide.

But it sounds like a good deal.....

Just tried the one you can DL off the Rockstar site. This game is still totally Killer !... .

Excellent fun running over pedestrians (especially those odd asses in their orange clownsuits :D )
